In writing articles and blogs, some of the items in this link (
https://coschedule.com/blog/content-writing-tips/tm_medium=email&am...) may be things many of us already have or do. You may find some of the information helpful in getting your service or message across. I hope you take the time to read through and consider whether any or all of these hints and tips may be helpful; we all can make room for improvement.
One interesting link in particular offers something each of us may focus on when writing for the internet:
https://coschedule.com/blog/latent-semantic-indexing/ - Knowledge of LSI will help you organize your writing in a way that best optimizes it for the bots that roam the web.
Note that tip item #16 is slightly different than the way we strive to word articles. And it can often be a bone of contention (notice!) in why we recommend articles in the style we do at OMTimes. We opt for the more inclusive "we" pronouns, because we place ourselves in some virtual shoes. Our writing serves as the conduit between the message and the masses, linking the reader to the importance of whatever topic is being shared.
Using the third-person pronoun serves as a way to bring it all together without as much struggle. It can be seen as a key characteristic in what sets our articles apart from the way many other publications or websites may "do it themselves" and writing from that first or second person (I/you) perspective. It does not make you any less of an expert...but it can make you a much more effective communicator.
And there are many other good points to remember and use. Enjoy! Happy Easter, and may we all write with renewed vigor in the months ahead ~ Blessings!
