Here is a powerful relaxing instant chai tea that will help a person let go of tension, feel relaxed, and allow stress to melt away. This great tasting chai tea is “caffeine free” and works exceptionally well for those who want relaxation during the day, or in the evening so they can sleep. Dr. Haider’s relaxing chai tea contains four simple yet powerful healing herbs — and it’s easy to make. Plus these four herbs have many more health benefits that will do the body good.

1 - Part Organic Whole Allspice

1 - Part Organic Whole Cinnamon Sticks

1 - Part Organic Whole Cardamom

1 - Part Dried Organic Hops Flowers

(Optional) - 1 - Part Organic Stevia Powder - Or Honey or any other sweetener can be used. Or organic whole stevia leaves could be ground in the powder mixture.

Plus Enough Organic Nut Milk of Choice to make the Chai Tea- Sunflower Milk, Cashew Milk, Almond Milk, Soy Milk, or something else.

Take all the dried ingredients (including the stevia powder or stevia leaves) and place them in a simple coffee grinder and grind until they are ground into a very fine powder. Next take the powder and store in a glass jar or some other container with a tight fitting lid. This powder will stay fresh for a long time in the pantry. To make it last longer, keep it in the freezer in a glass jar and it will last for a very long time.

Making the Tea

Take a teaspoon of the Chai Powder and place it in good size cup and add hot water. Let steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Then strain the tea into another cup and add milk to the desired consistency. Add a little bit of extra ground cinnamon on top for an extra touch… and it’s ready to drink. (For extra luxury the milk could also be steamed or frothed to make it a Chai Tea Latte) And if you don’t use stevia add the sweetener of your choice at the end.

This fantastic chai tea can also be enjoyed without the milk if desired.

Cinnamon has so many healing qualities that we take for granted, like lowering blood sugar and keeping blood sugar in balance all day long. Cinnamon lowers cholesterol, helps with PMS, it’s a memory enhancer, it keeps colds and flues away, and it’s even a great antioxidant that repairs damaged DNA and more.

Allspice is great for indigestion, stomachaches, nausea, gas, menstrual cramps, sore muscles, headaches, insomnia, and stress. Allspice reduces pain, numbs toothache pain, it’s anti-fungal and antibacterial, it’s a powerful anti-inflammatory agent for arthritis, joint pain, and it’s very calming and soothing, it lowers blood sugar, it a powerful antioxidant and anti-aging herb… and it’s great in tea and coffee.

Cardamom is one of the best herbs for soothing away stomachaches, gas, hyperacid stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, and that bloated feeling. It lowers blood pressure and heart rate, helps with lung problems such as bronchitis, colds, flues, asthma, phlegm, chest congestion, and helps warm the body. Cardamom works wonders for depression, it lowers cholesterol, it’s a great diuretic and detoxing agent, plus it’s a powerful antimicrobial agent that works well for fighting bacteria and viral invaders, and it works well for muscles spasms, UTI, aids in the prevention of cancer… and so much more.

Dried Hops Flowers make a great tea that’s wonderful for stress, anxiety, and for helping one get a good nights rest and sooth the GI tract. Hops Flowers are anti-bacterial and anti-viral in action and it helps with menopause and PMS. And Hops Flowers are a great diuretic and has anti-inflammatory abilities for arthritis and joint pain, and for getting rid of inflammation in the body in general. And Hops Flowers contain a lot of flavonoids and anti-oxidants that help the body defend free radicals and premature aging. And they also help to prevent cancer and protect the cardiovascular system.

And all of these ingredients can be ordered on-line or they can be asked for at your local health food store.

So if it’s early in the morning and it’s raining outside and there is a need for something relaxing and soothing. Or if it’s bedtime and you’re wound up and you need to get to sleep… this a powerful and tasty relaxing chai tea that will do the trick.
