Getting to Know: MANDY LENG
1: What kinds of emotions/images/objects/animals inspire you most?
Water, rivers lakes creeks rainfall, oceans and sea creatures are things I enjoy. Love to go out in the wilderness and meet the inhabitants out there.
2: Do you have a favorite author, book or movie to recommend?
Neale Donald Walsch, Eckhart Tolle
3: What jobs or projects are you involved with outside of OM Times?
I work at a hospice and study herbs, other cultural beliefs. I do a number of crafts and like to grow a garden. Also like to paint and do photography. I have poems from the 70's to current time that I would like to publish and go on to writing other types of books.
4: Do you have a favorite plant, tree or flower?
Desert plants and herbs, yucca, chaparral. Redwoods and cottonwoods, juniper and pine. All trees.
5: What is your favorite food?
Am leaning towards fish and white meats, vegetables grains and fruits. Mexican and East Indian.
6: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Any nutty ice cream, home-made especially.
7: What is your message to the world?
Live and let live, try to be the change you want to see in the world. Handsome is as handsome does [old Cornish wisdom]
