As the December 2017 holiday season flows into its fullness, it is a good time to acknowledge much gratefulness to the OMTimes Community and its many contributors and supporters over the past year. Being a part of the OMTimes Community is itself a gift that keeps on giving. Not only do we gather together in sharing a purpose, but many of us offer use of spiritual gifts that contribute to the overall insight and wellbeing of Planet Earth! These gifts may feel burdensome at times; yet, we cannot discount their reality or their effectiveness.
With a deepest bow of gratitude to our way-showers at Humanity Healing, publisher Christopher Buck, and Editor-in-Chief, Liane Buck, this gathering of likeminded souls goes beyond healing humanity alone, for we are not alone. OMTimes Community editor Lisa Shaw is one of several gifted spiritualists who offer deeper understanding and empathy with our animal friends.
2017 brought several changes and difficult struggles that continue to affect us. Devastating storms in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico give us more than a little glimpse of what our changing climate can bring to so many areas. Fires in California and other west coast states have displaced many people. Contributors like Paul Hader take the lead right in their community in offering aid and solace to neighbors in difficult times.
Our political scene is rife with change, as we bear witness to the dismantling of established systems and personalities in powerful offices. While all this unveiling becomes increasingly evident, it gives us an opportunity to affirm where our values lie. Can we do better than we are right now? Nature tells us, ‘Yes, we can,’ and is helping usher in some sweeping changes as our human story unfolds.
These changes give us a reason to pause and reflect. Starting with self, choose ways and values that mean the most to you. OMTimes Community members experienced significant changes this year—births, deaths, illness, and other homegrown projects have a lingering impact. These encourage kindness with our gifts, where we speak up and help others, but do not decide for them. As many in the OMTimes Community know, offering possibilities opens many doors of decision. Giving the empowering gift of choice to the recipient to make the changes that are best for them has its ripple effect on the rest of us.
Much gratitude must go to personalities who continue to shine their light and show us the way. Allayah Frisch, Mark Lainhart, Charlie Riverman Bergeron, bring people together on a regular basis to connect with elements that strengthen and share insight on moving us all forward consciously. Kara Johnstad, Christos Archos, Baba Shuddhaanandaa Brahmachari, Tony Samara, and more add an international flair and cohesive voice to helping the areas in which they serve, while at the same time, sharing growth and possibilities with the rest of us.
It seems no matter what platform an OMTimes Community member uses, whether it is the magazine, radio, podcasts, or classes, these alignments spread light and hope to whoever encounters it. And speaking of alignments and light, where would we be without the faithful, regular insight Kathy Biehl shares? Grateful, indeed to her and the many intuitives who facilitate messages connecting our Earth to the stars and back again, bringing us so much in sharing their special gifts!
Gratitude to the interviewers, like Sandra Sedgbeer, Victor Fuhrman, and more, for such interesting feature stories. Reading more about humanitarians and change makers like Zoe Wild and Renee Locklear White, who have such an impact on everyone at home and abroad, goes far in helping heal and unite us.
As 2017 ends, let us look with a grateful and peaceful heart upon the holistic picture we have of humanity, all beings, life forms, soul, spirit, and cosmic forces here and gone that influence us every day. Offering and operating from a mode of constant gratitude helps acknowledge and recognize the benefits of all that comes our way. ~ Blessings!
