Once again, the day of thanks through out the U.S.A. was celebrated.
Now a memory.
Some will be replay the events in their minds eye.
Others on our blackberries, some will upload memories to youtube.
I'll write about the day of thanks in my little note book.
From the grandest of homes there were feasts fit for a king,
There were also quaint meals with loved ones sitting around kitchen tables where a King would feel loved, and in what is this nations greatest beauty all that is in between.
We as a people celebrated.
We as a people carried canned food to the less fortunate.
We as a people opened our hearts and homes to friends and family.
We as a people remembered ... the ones not sitting at the table this year, the new additions, defeats, and the victories.
We as a people from OM-TIMES sent out positive vibes of love and good action to our fellow man being mindful of the times we are in...
We as a people ~ Love ever present.
On November 19th a family member passed away.
On November 23rd I attended the wake. The same day Jacob was born, a co-workers little boy.
On November 24th Leilani was born, a co-workers little baby was added to his family.
On November 25th, my house was full of family I have not seen in over 10 years,
On the same day my nephews mom was hospitalized, an auntie from Colombia, S.A.
called to say there are floods everywhere asking for prayer.
I did not cook this year, my mother prepared the entire meal to her little hearts content.
She was so happy sharing her love with everyone.
I saw love in her eyes.
A moment in time.
I saw hope sitting among us.
Remembering friends from near and far..
I heard stories about wars, about the past, ancestors were remembered...
Then we ate until our bellies were full.
Than we are until our bellies were full.
A moment in time...
Holding the day of thanks in my heart I will continue to carry hope in my heart.
Blessings to you~
God Bless America.
