someone asked how to post or insert an image directly into a discussion. as my handwriting with the mouse (above) is a bit messy, i am rewriting it here. .... 

to post or insert an image directly into a discussion, click on the image icon, which is the second icon from the left of "Add:" and next to "link".

then, you will be given an option to upload an image from your harddrive, etc., and go from there.
