Hi! I'm a newbie here. I joined in June but I wasn't able to submit an article in July. Many apologies for that. It has been a time of great healing for me but has meant not much productivity in the practical sense. Anyway, here is my first article for submission. I will use my very best endeavors to get an article in each month from now on. :-) I have not used Notepad much. I used the Word Wrap so I could make sense of it so I do hope that is the correct format that you need. Also, it seems to mess up the outline format whenever I re-save it. I grew up with American English but I now live overseas where we use the Queen's English. I know that OM Times is produced in the States and thus I have used that spelling and tried to be ultra careful. :0) But just in case I slipped up anywhere, that's why! Many, many thanks for any help you can provide. I have attached the article for your perusal/editing/suggestions. Thank you!
Namaste, Sonia

Hi Sonia. Thank you for your posting here. I tried to open up your article on both the main computer and on iPad, but it opens up to a sort of DOS language which is almost unreadable and therefore unusable in its present format. I suggest you use MS Word or Microsoft Office if you can get access to them. The older versions are quite compatible with our community forum, if you can get one. The new ones of course are good, but expensive. You may be able to find a Word programme that is downloadable on the Web that is free. Good luck with your writing and posting, and please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Hi Trevor,
That's really strange that it didn't open. I do have Word, thanks. I put it into Notepad format because of the recommendation in the submission guidelines to do so to retain formatting, but obviously that didn't work. :-)
So, lets try again - here it is attached in Word.
Thanks so much!
Sonia
Hi Sonia, thank you. It now opens up fine and I am able to copy the draft. Your next step is to post it to the community so that Kathy or I can assess it for possible publication. Go on to your page and click on the article button, copy and paste your article into the box provided and save it. It will then appear in the community and we can take it from there. Any problems, shout. Many thanks, Trevor
Hi Trevor, I've done it. I think. I published post rather than Save Draft. I didn't see the Save Draft option until I"d already published it. Is that correct? It seems like Save Draft would only allow me to see it? Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it. :-) I'll get this figured out sooner than later.
