Where is my true love, my eternal soul mate?

drifitng in time, seperated by fate.

How I long to reach out and touch you sweet face,

never fearing this life or its heavy fast pace.

Long is the yearning to be held in your arms,

safe in embrace, safe from all harm.

Tears that cascade never touching the pain,

only thoughts and old memories to hold and refrain.

Bitter the tears as I long for you presence,

always feeling you near...your beautiful essence.

How I wish I could reach back,

to the time when you left.

Hold you inside and never regret.

Or reach my hands forward and whisper you name.

Hold you forever – and forever remain.
