A DOG NAMED GEORGE

My first dog we got when I was growing up was George, he was a stray puppy know one

had claimed. I loved George, and George loved me, he was my beloved companion, it

seems all animals take a liking to me. The favorite place that George loved to be was out

at the cottage.

He love to go in the boat, and watch us water-ski or just go for a ride. One day I was

going for my ski and I took a wipe out, George jumped out of

that boat, and swam towards me .He thought something had gone wrong, and he was

going to save me.

George would catch all sorts of animals, and proudly kill them, and put them in front

of the lawn so we could see them. Those were his trophies. One time he killed two

weasels that were around our cottage. The weasels a very vicious, yet George was

protecting his home and he was not scared of them.

One year our school Davin was having a pet show, and my girlfriend, and I entered

George we were so sure he would have won. As we went into so much care, bathing

 and   combing his golden locks. My girlfriend’s brother had a Ginny pig, and she loved

George so she wanted to help me with the show. In the end a Ant Circus won, and there

wasn’t even, any ants. I guess it was the creativity of what this person did, and the

work the did to put this in the show.

My George was put down as he was protecting our house, and a lady walked by, and he

barked at her, she kicked him, and he bit her.

My parents got another dog right away, as Then I guess I couldn’t feel the loss of my

favorite friend. George.

George is, and will always be apart of the cottage, at the lake his foot prints, are on my

ceiling in the bedroom.

I love my sweet dog George I will love for always, I know you are always protecting me,

as that is how you are.
