The OM Writer's Workshop...

An informal daily workshop where writers can engage with Editors and each other to discuss day to day problems in creating articles, spelling, prose, use of language, rhetoric, rhythm, grammar, punctuation, style, and to just about throw anything in the pot to produce the perfect OM Times piece of creative writing. Or, to just help find your way with words ...

Thanks Trevor, for your help! I just downloaded firefox, and worked just fine. My explorer wouldn't work for me at all...

One of our new writers is having problems uploading their profile pic - are any other new writers experiencing the same problem ? We need to know if it is a technical hitch. Many thanks, Trevor

Just a reminder to our new writers that you are invited to join the OM Times Creative lounge on Facebook. There is news about the forthcoming Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and you can engage with fellow OM Times Writers on the community there. (Link https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/Omtimes/ )

Good morning OM Writers, just a reminder that the Time Sensitive Group is open  to all writers to post their article as a discussion where the article needs to be reviewed for publishing on the magazine website in time for a specific event, eg Easter, or for Astrology etc. The link is : http://community.omtimes.com/group/time-sensitive-material

Thank you. Hope your weekend is awesome

Dear OM Writers, scores of you would have received a message from new member JULIANA this morning which has choked up the community feed as you can see here. I have suspended her, so please ignore her message which would appear on your page as well as here. Many thanks, Trevor

Good Morning OM Writers - A little workshop tip this morning - Capital letters - "God" and "Goddess" normally have a capital letter at the start if there is only one God. When talking about several gods, or goddesses, a small (lowercase) letter starts the word.

I can see it now.  It was a name issue I think

Hi Robin, can you see it now?

You need to get into the group to see things.

Comment by Trevor Taylor on February 1, 2014 at 3:41pm

Hi Robin, the only thing I can think of is that you may need to clear the cookies on your computer. That might do the trick. All 4 of my computers go straight through to the message thread on the page using the link I sent you. If that doesn't work I will check with Liane :)
