Lizabeth Kashinsky has been working for the NOAA Fisheries Hawaiian monk seal research Program since 1997. Over the years she has participated in numerous research activities in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Lizabeth's passion for the conservation of Hawaii's native biota began while working as a student intern for The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii in 1994. She is forever grateful to those who opened her eyes to the world of Hawaii's native plants, animals, and ecosystems, which she is committed to help protect. Lizabeth obtained her yoga teacher training certification in 2009 and is also currently a graduate student at Naropa University.
