Shifts & Changes

I look past the traffic

Look past the man-made structures

Of brick and mortar

I look past

Look up

Look behind

And I see LIFE…

I see the blanker of trees in the background

Several still green

But so many in the shift and change

Some half way there

Blotchy green and gold combined

Some pale yellow ochre

They've begun their shift

But still have a bit of change left to come

Crash

Along our path
We crash
Fall
Tumble head over heels
Land in helpless piles
Feel the urge to just sink
Forever
Into sorrow
Let it pull us under
But we stand
Move on
Limping
Anticipating the next crash
That will threaten to knock us off course
Knowing
That each crash makes us
Who we are at the end
Of the path

And let go

Of their ego

Imagine all the good thoughts

Going out to each other

If for an instant

Every person

Became one

If the world came together

For the good of the whole

Imagine

What a world we could be

Into the Mind of the World

Through the caverns of the clouds

A luminous awakening approaches

Only those lucid to the truth

Shall see what mankind has become

When the layers of misguidance

And cloy misconceptions are peeled away

Those still blind

Will be our purpose

and our insanity

Combined

I look to the downtrodden sky

Discerning, that soon

The heavens will unleash upon the earth

An unsuspected solitude

Wrapped in a prism of hope

Heal thyself –…
