If you could look into your future and see that it was filled with abundance and you had everything you ever wanted, how would you live your life today?
With all the changes happening in the world today, some of us are seeking ways to find comfort amidst all the chaos. We can only take so much gloom, doom, negativity and fear before saying “ENOUGH” and look for ways to feel good and find comfort, regardless of what the news, radio, colleagues or friends are saying or…

As an animal welfare worker (professionally or as a volunteer), you know what it feels like when you make a positive difference in the life of an animal. It is exhilarating, heartwarming, joyful, motivating and provides a sense of accomplishment and hope.
More than likely, when you decided to spend your time with animals, you did so because of the strong urge to make a difference, follow your heart and to do what you were called to do. It is all about helping as many as you can and…

This is a question that I have asked myself many times. The Native Americans believed that Starseeds can from the Stars and were sent here with much more spritual advancement than most.
When Christopher Columbus "discovered" the world the Native American's were already here. They welcomed him and his people with open arms. Where did they come from?
The story of Jesus begins in a manger were his mother (who was a virgin) gave birth to him. Now metaphoricaly speaking the 3 wise men…

There are times when one is struck. Life is dull. Energies are drained continuously. You are unable to concentrate, remain out of focus. You are surrounded by apprehensions. Your endeavors lead you to no- where. You always have illusions about the success. You are fighting all the times with your inner self. You were not born for this. You are unable to understand the reasons/destiny. The pain is growing every day. You try to remember every day of your…

I understand all to well feeling 'scared' to feel 'alive' in my own body. As I have said it is the last thing an addict wants to do. Its why we use to escape. Especially in the beginnning it can seem unbareable and overwhelming. The emotions are all dammed up wanting to be released and most of them are unpleasant sensations to feel. I remember when I quit using I felt nothing void of life itself. I asked a therapist at the time, "I dont feel anything when will I feel something?" She replied,…

... is a manifestation of a great wounding. Before something
can be healed, it has to be exposed and identified.
Why do certain individuals become the focus of intense scrutiny ?
Why is there a compulsive need by large numbers of the
population in any given society to probe, expose, masticate
and eviscerate compelling personalities, whether they are in
the professional, celebrity, art -or most morbidly- the spiritual
sectors of society ?
There…

I look forward to meeting others in this community and welcome contact. :-)
I healed myself over 2 years ago of chronic diseases and in doing so found my passion for helping others to heal. I write about consciousness and different modalities of healing. I also am a Reconnective Healing Practitioner.
I write two blogs one called Heal Pain Naturally and one recommending non violent computer games for children. Both can be found at my website:…

Dear Friends,
I know this is out of cycle for my newsletter but I really wanted to share this with you.
As you probably know, President Barack Obama is due to arrive in Arizona at any moment now to deliver the commencement speech at ASU. I am aware how hard the security services in Arizona are working behind the scenes for this historic occasion and I wanted to give a shout out to them first of all. And I know there has been tremendous hassles and controversies leading… Continue

There is a Door
There is a door. I can see it. I have felt it many times. It is strong and heavy but really only feels heavy. It feels tall like a redwood or solid like an oak. Dark heavy wood, at least it feels heavy.
I have seen it open. It is beautiful inside. Home. No, better than home. It is home for the Homed. I belong there. I know this.
Inside there is strength. I can feel it even from the outside. Inside there is courage. I can feel it. It has fortified…

De-Expression
It is now white, very white. You can see the spots that are not as white but still very white. I am sure the landlord will only see the places that the orange, blue, red, green, purple and black refused to be hidden. Just like early in the twentieth century when American women refused to have their voices and votes hidden. Just like when the Voice of Nelson Mandela refused to be hidden or silenced by prison, hate or violence. When Brother Malcolm returned from his…

“Sitting in the darkness of my mind”
Sitting in the darkness of my mind- I feel alone and helpless at times.
I breathe in and out trying to spit them all out. I want to fall asleep oh please just let me be.
I have plenty of time to think but not at night when I need my sleep.
Thoughts using up my time, hush I say, go away, find another to keep awake.
I am at peace, I am quite, I have no time to quarrel and fight.
I think of a garden of endless divine.…

He was only a man, so some say;
And those who followed him were fools, so some say.
As he hung on the cross rejected and scorned,
His God would forsake Him, so some say.
But the one called Jesus had a plan
To prove to the world he was not "just a man."
He died on the cross that you and I might live,
His life for our life--what more cold He give?
Forsake Him, you say? God made Him a King.
He arose from the grave and now walks…

Timeless Glitter
(no such thing)
Have you ever sit and pondered about the world around you so much, it just became one big blur? There is such an enormous amount of strife surrounding you and the things you hold dear to you. The important things yet at times I have come to the conclusion that none of it is real. And at other times it hits me with such force it can’t be anything but reality. Every day there are people I see, hear, and read about that have lost so much, but…

By Swami Chetanananda (from a talk given November 10, 2007, in Portland)
Last month I spent a good deal of time sitting in airports in Europe, watching people come and go, and go and come. It was interesting to watch because what it was about, for the most part, was people’s imaginary lives. An imaginary life is what our life is about most of the time. It’s about our hopes and fears, our desires and our attractions, as well as our aversions. It’s also about our attitudes. That’s our…

Do you remember the story of Icarus in Greek mythology?
Daedalus was the great engineer who had designed the Labyrinth for King Minos of Crete to house the Minotaur. He was moved by the love of the Princess Ariadne for Theseus and gave her the secret of the Labyrinth so that Theseus could survive. Enraged, King Minos had Daedalus and his son Icarus imprisoned in a tower. In secret, Daedalus fashioned wings by attaching bird feathers to a frame with wax. They donned the…

Spiritual Networking
by
Christopher Buck
Spiritual Networking is a cutting edge concept that transcends the usual networking notion. Spiritual Networking in itself embraces many aspects and manifestations that pertain to human connections. It is a Holistic and Organic approach, and a way to use a new outlook to translate connections.
Being part of a growing multifaceted community can enrich our lives, and at the same time create a myriad of new… Continue

Abstract: In a world with so much suffering we do our best to be compassionate as part of the resolution. While doing our best we sometimes take on the suffering inside ourselves and lose our ability to be fully present with whatever the situation. It makes us wonder if we are being part of the resolution or part of the problem? Tips on what we can do if we find ourselves slipping out of being present and part of the…
