Adho Mukha Svanasana or Downward Facing Dog

An inversion pose such as the downward facing dog causes a temporary increase in blood circulation to the head. This increased blood flow triggers the body's calming mechanism, which slows the heart rate and…

Spying on Subconscious Feelings!

Spying on Subconscious Feelings!

We spend our formative years in school, developing our rational minds, but our emotions receive no formal attention. High divorce rates, job loss, employment stress, accidents, deaths, personal struggles, changing hormones, financial problems and health issues challenge everyone’s emotional health. Yet, as a society we stubbornly treat the…

Manifesting a Miracle :: The Sweet Water Sustainability Institute

How does one go about having a property valued at over $8M gifted to a cause? It starts with a desire, a belief in something for the highest good. At least that is how it started for SWSI. SWSI is the acronym for Sweet Water Sustainability Institute which is located on a 144 acre historic former boarding school…

Grow or Go?

We are in a constant state of change and flux. Are you feeling it? Evolutionary progression is happening every minute and certainly during the last 4 years it feels like the Universe has put her foot on the growth accelerator and we are doing our best to hang on as the changes come thick and fast. Our body’s cells are in a constant state of birth and death and the cycle of life takes us through day and night, good and bad, happy and sad. Phew!

The symptoms of accelerated growth appear…

Did you know you are an energy connector?

Did you know you are an energy connector?

Warm Namaste Beautiful Beings of Light,

There are intense electrical surges going through the planet. This vibration is being carried through energy particles from the central sun that are assisting in transforming our carbon based bodies to reconnect to our diamond light bodies. It is all simply in our cellular memory of our original design; our original Adam Kadman Self. Each light worker is now receiving these electrical encodements… Continue

Truth or Illusion… It is All Up to You

As we go through our spiritual journey, learning what it truth and what is an illusion can be one of the most difficult passages to make.  It seems just when we think we have it all figured out, something will happen, we will read something new, or listen to someone else's opinion on what is reality. When these crossroads come up it is so easy to get caught up in other people's thoughts and completely loose our memory of who we really are. We may even feel like we are starting out all over… Continue

TOMATOES AND BANANAS MUST NOT MIX?

Doing some miscellaneous reading the other day, I happened on to a passage that said “while tomatoes are a fruit (scientifically) we mustn’t put them in a fruit salad!”

It set me to thinking. Why not? What awful thing would happen if the two were to meet in a fruit salad? Would their various components attack each other? Have we ever actually tried the two together? Or is it simply that we have learned that this combination is unacceptable practice or incorrect…

March is a Time for Renewal

"Life on Earth has been a history

of interaction between living

things and their surroundings."

-Rachel Carson

When early man settled an area that allowed plant life to flourish, agricultural societies prospered allowing for the pursuit of higher ideas. In areas where grain could thrive, civilizations grew, cultivating religion with man's evolving ability to sense the changing seasons and note the motions of the celestial bodies.

Ecopsychology: Reconnecting with Nature

Ecopsychology: Reconnecting with Nature

By: Tatiana Casey

I couldn’t sleep. For the first time in a long time, I had stepped out of the comfort zone I had made of my life in Texas and into an unfamiliar territory. I lay awake on the tattered brown couch near the window of a dense, Oregon landscape. As I watched my thoughts pass by like clouds, oblivious to the low hums of music still playing in the background, I felt the stroke of a familiar hand on my face. The… Continue

Restoring Economic Sovereignty: The Push for State-owned Banks

Responding to an unfilled need for credit for local government, local businesses and consumers, three states in the last month have introduced bills for state-owned banks -- Oregon, Washington and Maryland – joining Illinois, Virginia, Massachusetts and Hawaii to bring the total number to seven.

While Wall Street is reporting record profits, local banks are floundering, credit for small businesses and consumers remains tight, and local…

Divine Heritage

There is no necessity if necessity resides outside of the inner flame of the heart. The only Truth there is thrives in the reflection of divine order and the universal strings attached to the order of manifestation. We create to grow and grow to create that which we seek - we are- in this paralleled Universe. It is a full circle weaved with consentual perplexities of thought. We get lost in these “thoughts” not knowing the direction of our soul evolution. But there is no way to discern what is… Continue

Cold and Flu Season or is it?

Cold and Flu Season or is it?

How many times have we heard that it is cold and flu season, and isn't it interesting that it rolls around in late February and early March? Why is this? While it is true there does seem to be a lot of people with cold symptoms in late winter, it has more to do with an individuals  personal impaired immunity than any additional germs flying around.…

Expressing Mindful Love Through Service

Last month I discovered an obscure holiday called Random Acts of Kindness Week that starts around February 14th. Now this seems appropriate since St. Valentine’s Day is supposedly based on the martyred saints who around 200 AD performed marriages for soldiers ordered by the Roman Emperor to remain single. Their acts weren’t necessarily random but they were based on kindness and service.

Today service, or Seva, as we say in Sanskrit, is essential for one’s transformation,…

How do Solar Lights Work?

The photon energy that is produced by the sun is clean, abundant and available to everyone free of charge. In the space of one second, our sun produces enough energy for almost 500,000 years of the current needs of our civilization. The light that is emitted from the sun contains photons, or heat, and when these photons are captured by solar paneling the energy can be…

I Can

Our words matter.  Our spoken words, felt with our deep emotion, can act as a decree (words spoken with emotion).  The next time you are with your friends, count the number of times they may use words that are not empowering.  You might be surprised how many times you may hear decrees such as “I am not”, “I can not”, and “I do not want to be”.  We most likely repeat these similar patterns in our dialogues as well.  It is just a bit easier to see the patterns in others!

Think…
