Love, Love, Love is all you need

"Love is all I need to fix my world" ~ Louise Hay

Society as it is today can seem somewhat divided. On one hand chronic illness, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity is at an all time high, on the other hand, a shift. Ever so slowly, each at their own pace, one by one, humanity is awakening and and starting to realize their unique potential for self mastery and healing. But the question remains, how can we bridge the gap? The gap between what can sometimes feel like…

Waking the Green Man with the Tree Ogham, Part 1

Waking the Green Man

There is a lot of discussion about the return of the divine feminine in the “new thought” movements. While it is true she has been through her travails, I am going to go out on a limb and say that the divine masculine has suffered just as much, and that he too, is throwing off the bondage of the previous age. So I see not just the re-emergence of the divine feminine, but also the re-emergence of the divine masculine. In other words, we are…

Waking the Green Man with the Tree Ogham, Part 3

Face of the God

One of my favorite scenes from The Mists of Avalon (the book by the way, the movie was a disappointment) Taliesin (the Merlin that served Uther and Arthur) explains to Morgaine the child that we do not fight the Saxons because they worship the Horse God, we fight them because they raid our villages, burn our homes and kill our people. He continues on that it matters not what face one sees on God, all Gods are one God, and all Goddesses are one…

Waking the Green Man with the Tree Ogham, Part 2

As we step into our divinity we must remember to be gentle with ourselves, and each other. Too often the praise of the divine feminine is done at the cost of the divine masculine, which only continues to perpetuate the problem-the illusion of separation.

Three things all women need to remember

     1. The pressure to succeed in multiple arenas, provide a home and be superman is crushing and…

What's your 2014 Chinese Astrological Forecast?

Happy New Year!!!

Now that we're officially in the Year of the Yang Horse, this is a great time to revisit our astrological signs and take a peek at what the year has in store for us. The information here is only based on the astrological animal of the year that you were born, so this will be a very general forecast. A proper Chinese astrological reading also takes into consideration the animal signs of the…

Finding your Authentic Nature

As small infants, we learn that the world is not supportive of the expression of our authentic core. We are repeatedly told how to behave, and we gather quickly what is acceptable and what is not. No one wants to be rejected and ostracized.  Over time, we evolve a persona or buffer that serves as a bridge between our core and the outside world. This is not just a subconscious program that develops because we experience a trauma or emotional attack. This is a polished,…

Gratitude

When I look back on my life I see a pattern within my physical world that I can’t help but acknowledge. Blessings I've had no appreciation for tend to dissipate from existence very quickly whereas the things that I have remained grateful for, day in and day out, have stayed in my life and are still in my life in some form or another.

When I talk about gratitude or giving thanks I’m not referring to any type of verbal recognition or prayer although those are very lovely gestures as…

Knowledge and Truth

Knowledge and Truth

By William Bezanson

One of my favourite Rosicrucian invocations, which I find personally meaningful, contains the phrase “… in knowledge and truth …”.

That’s what I try to seek in my research and to present in my writings:  knowledge and truth. They are very important to strive for.

So much of what we…

How Does A Medium Connect With Spirit?

Mediums can be psychic, clairvoyant, or channels.  This is called mental mediumship.  A medium can use the ability of one or all of the Claires: Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience or Claircognizance.  Clarivoyance is the ability to “see” an image or word.  Clairaudience means the medium can hear spirit speaking. Clairsentience is when physical feelings…

Eye of God

The proverbial eye of god through which the universe sees me is also the eye through which I see the universe. As far as we know at present, we humans are the most advanced intelligence existing in the world. We are made of the same ingredients of energy and matter as everything else in the cosmos. As strange as this may seem on the surface, on a molecular level there is no difference between me, you, the screen on which you read this sentence, and planet Mars. This consciousness animates…

How To Make Your Mirror Your Best Friend

Most often we see ourselves through the eyes of others, the way we think others might see us. Gradually we fall into a habitual rut of self-judgment, our life becoming one of continual servitude to a false perception. We don't wear shackles, but our mind is shackled, serving a self-created confinement. Because we can have little self-love or self-esteem when we rely on others’ eyes, our own eyes are not open to Awareness.

The only…

Being Contrary: Acting Differently or in Non-Conforming Ways

When we were small children, in an effort to control our exuberance, many of our school teachers sought to encourage conformity.  We had to present our paperwork in a particular way.  We have to behave in the prescribed manner. Our parents encouraged conformity also.  We arose at the same time.  We ate our agreed-upon diet. We had a prearranged place for sitting at the dinner table. These early lessons about conformity required discipline on our parts.

I think that the reason…

Are You Trapped?

Feeling trapped can leave us vulnerable to more and more dissatisfaction. I believe our lives should be lives of fulfillment and satisfaction, so let’s see what we can do to help you move away from feeling trapped?

What makes you feel trapped?

  • Parental pressure?
  • A toxic past?
  • An old, fixed mindset?
  • Your relationship?
  • In a job you despise?
  • In a sick body?

I’ve learned that spending years…
