I look out the window
into the darkening night.

The lights across the road
reflect on the rippling pond water as
the barren branches of the trees
sway in an unseen breeze.

Suddenly, the moment is magical!
My heart thrills
as a faint ripple in time connects us.

I see the reflection of your eyes in the glass,
and I know you're thinking of me, too.

About Humanity's Team :: Spiritual Activist - We R Uniting

Humanity’s Team is a spiritual movement whose purpose is to communicate and implement the belief that we are all one, one with God and one with life, in a shared global state of being, so that the behavior of humanity may shift to reflect this understanding.

Unconditional Love

I believe that all humans crave to experience unconditional love. We all are conditioned to react to words and acts of love differently, depending on our own childhood and past experiences. Our first experience with love probably was from our parents (with their own notion of love), which we most likely experienced as “conditional love”. Conditional love was most likely used to control our behavior “for our own good”. The concept that we are…

Spring Whispers

Added by Chris Anderson/Onefeather on March 12, 2010 at 11:30am — No Comments

Last April on a Sunday we took one of our "nowhere" drives, my husband was quietly driving a back road. I was occupied in the front passenger seat watching the scenery.

I noticed out of the corner of my eye that my husband was straining to look out my window. This startled me, since his eyes should be on the road in front of him. I asked him what he was looking at out the windows, and he quietly replied, "Nothing." His eyes went back to the road…

“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” Lao-Tzu

“When I let go of what I am”.....not an easy step for most of us to take is it? In order to let go, first we have to have a relationship with ourselves. Does our belief in who we are rely on our name, where we live, our job title or what others think of us? If so, what…

Agreements In Heaven

I am amazed and in awe when I ponder on the grand scheme of things;

The order and perfection, interweaving of dreams.

Creations come in waves all throughout with all beauty,

emerging, re-emerging, expressing it’s love.

It moves through you , in me and all,

We play the part that fits us all.

We made agreements, once upon a time,

With utmost love, to help each other shine.

Love was all around me when I desired to grow,

Teachers sprouted all… Continue

Establish a U.S. Department of Peacebuilding

The science of peacebuilding deserves a seat at the table when it comes to making decisions about foreign and domestic policy. The use of violence to resolve personal and international conflicts needs to be a last resort. The Department of Peacebuilding will build the institutional structures needed to help put peaceful means at the forefront.…

A Conversation :: Good VS Evil - Divine vs. Science

Subject: Good VS Evil

I don't know if it is true or not but it is a good read and just might make you think. Let me explain the problem science has with religion. The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.

You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'

Yes sir,' the student says.

So you believe in God?'

'Absolutely.. '

'Is God…

Are You Expressing The Fullness of Your Life?

“Doubt is a pain too lonely to know that faith is his twin brother.” ~ Kahlil Gibran

I believe that each of us is called to enjoy life fully. I believe that health, wealth, success, happiness and joy are our natural, born-with inheritance. We have formed mental databases, and what’s in them unwittingly drags things along that retard our progress.

Self-improvement, refinement, or as I like to think of it - re-fine-ment - to make fine again…

HEALING :: begins with THOUGHT

This month we decided to look at healing from a new perspective - where it actually begins. In the beginning there was man and he was without sickness. The bible says sickness came as a result of sin and as I know understand it - being hurtful, abusive, angry, hostile, negative to ones self could be considered a sin against SELF. There is much evidence to suggest that our thoughts and emotional state of well being are…

Remove My Blinders

There is so much pain my Mother feels,

with sons and daughters, all for slaughter.

My animal brothers , trees, and lakes.

we kill them vainly and they cry for help.

The trees are burning down to their roots,

gone are their arms that lifts to the skies.

I hear them cry, with tears falling down their trunks,

but not for them, for they cry for man.

There is a black veil, my heart is heavy.

They grieve for man who is blind to their… Continue

What is Your Truth?

Dear Ones: We are each connected by threads unseen, energies that travel and bind the universe. One of these threads is silver. The writing you read here is titled, "Silver Threads." The Fool

A fool is one who goes on trusting; a fool is one who goes on trusting against all his experience. You deceive him, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you. Then you will say that he is a fool, he does not learn. His trust is tremendous; his trust is so pure that nobody can corrupt it.

Be a fool in the Taoist sense, in the Zen sense. Don´t try to create a wall of knowledge around you. Whatsoever experience comes to… Continue
