HUMANITY

What we are today, comes from our thoughts of yesterday
and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow;
Our life is the creation of our mind.
The Buddha

If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.
Nelson Mandela

Some people have a tendency to sacrifice themselves for other’s comfort while ignoring their own needs.  Under stress, overwhelmed and/or unappreciated, in many cases the only time they take care of their needs are when they have severe health problems due to their own neglect and sacrifice.

If you can relate with the above paragraph, there is a simple remedy for you. Practice saying no.  It is probably very difficult for you to say no to others.  You most likely will…

I ran into a friend recently at Walmart.  We have spent quite a bit of time together including some pretty long and deep spiritual conversations.  However, I can guarantee if I were to introduce you to my friend, they would not be able to tell much about my life.

(Poem) The Wisdom Maker

Quietly she flows into the next moment

Radiating her love to all who cross her path

Oblivious to what some call darkness

She Lights the way for all her world to see

Joy radiates out through her

Her world is illuminated as she smiles her perpetual smile

Many have claimed to be healed in her presence

Others feel worse than before she came

Tears fall - Pain and sorrow come and than leave as she

brings them to their knees

She comes… Continue
