“The Student and Master Relationship”
To plant the seeds of spirituality, there first needs to be a strong desire to know God, the Universe, and the One and Only. There needs to be a burning deep down inside that drives a person forward wanting to know more. That is the seed spirituality, and students must crave…Continue

We come to this plane to learn lessons and some of those lessons concern living life with physical difficulties. Some are born with all kinds of physical and mental impairments. When we are on the other side of the veil we soon decide that we need to go back to the physical plane and learn more, and thus we decide the lessons we need to learn. There is no thought to how much pain and suffering we will endure, that’s of…Continue
The self-development field is a fascinating place, filled with fascinating individuals.
As lifetime students of the Human Condition, we have always been rather intrigued by the highly diverse paths people take in pursuit of their personal journeys towards enlightenment, self-realization or whatever else it is they seek.
Which brings us to this thing called “Ego.”
Ego is perhaps the single most over-analyzed, over-discussed and over-used…Continue
There are people who will claim to know you and act as though they are part of your tribe, using you for their own agendas as they drop your name in other circles. Their sincerity depends entirely on how much you can offer them in each moment. Their motives are selfish, not selfless. These are not light workers in any way, shape or form. Don't fool yourself into thinking that because they have light, they must be good people. There are many gifted healers who don't have an authentic…Continue
In order to have whatever we want, we must first control our mind. Think about Sir Edmond Hillary the mountain climber climbing Mount Everest. It's a long arduous journey and there are many obstacles in the way, such as crevasses, icy cliffs, lack of oxygen, and with great heights every step feels like a person is moving tons of concrete. A person of normal mind would never make it to the summit. But a person with…Continue

If you are reading this, it's likely that you are a "constant improver," a person who spends a lot of time and effort making sure that your work is the best it can be, a high achiever dedicated to your development, and at the same time may tend to worry about your performance and how others perceive you.
The Meaning of Personal Evolution
The evolution of awareness is an ongoing process, moving from a state of confusion to a state of health and stability. The activation of intense emotion, usually called triggering, has been associated with PTSD for the most part, but is actually a description of something that happens to everyone across the board. That makes it an evolutionary opportunity for all to engage in.
Whether we have PTSD or not, we are presented with situations that engage us and activate…Continue
The majority of those of us in the self-improvement, metaphysical or spiritual movement idealize a time when we are able to fully incorporate and live from the remembrance of the truths we have come to believe. Although we may disagree on the content of those beliefs, we are universal in our desire to become what Abraham Maslow has termed “self-actualized.” We believe it is possible for us to become all that we can be and remain in a state of awareness without the slumber of unconsciousness…Continue
The lowest vibrational layer of your subtle body, that has direct contact with your physical body and sustains your life, is the etheric body. It is often referred to as your human atmosphere and contributes to vitality and health.
Your etheric body is the connection to the divine and absorbs and distributes the vital force…Continue

“The Advancements of Technology or the Call of Spirit”
We are exploring the deepest parts of the oceans, climbing the highest peaks of the world, going out into space to visit other planets, landing on asteroids, crossing the oceans with solar powered planes, colliding particles with giant magnetic chambers… and much…Continue
In our work-a-day lives, we are driven to achieve, to be successful. Work is just one focus in our lives. What about who you are in your own mind, what about your finances, and what about your vision for the future?
It would be wonderful to have a Master Plan for your life and to include all of those topics. If you don’t have one, why not take a few moments and create one? Floating along IS one method, but the results are not quite as predictable.

Nowadays, we see many spiritual buzz words banded about such as ascension, golden age and 5th Dimension, all pertaining to a charmed and more enlightened life for humanity. But what really is Enlightenment?
In the Oxford English dictionary enlightenment is defined as "The action or state of attaining or having attained spiritual knowledge or insight".
Spirit sometimes refer to themselves as "Masters in their own essence" where they use this spiritual energy as a means…Continue

As a child, did you delight in the exotic, mystical stories of magic carpets, manifestation through puffs of smoke, and genies? Most of us did, either through storybooks that unleashed our imagination or through colorful and hypnotic animation in movies and on television. The names, the clothing, The Arabian locales and cultural accoutrements increased the exotic appeal of the story, which appeared, like many other compelling tales, in the 1001 Arabian Nights. Who wouldn’t desire a…Continue
Plato told a story of soulmates being once bonded together as one and then Zeus split them apart. Since then the two have sought each other out as each half seeking to be completed by their other half. They have an unspoken understanding of each other and feel united as if they were twins. Since then many people have looked for their perfect mate, that one and only "soulmate." Whether soulmates exist is debatable but many of us seek that special someone we can be with who is like no…Continue
Virgo….oh, efficient, detail-oriented, analytical, and organized Virgo. How desperately we need you to “clean up the mess” we make and to edit the noise of life. Your dedication and service for the well-being of all is the beauty of your energy!
Virgo comes to us with perfect timing (she is, after all, the sign of perfection!). As we begin to move from late summer into fall, we find ourselves beginning to pay attention to where we need to edit our lives in order…Continue
The Hope in Pandora
By Kathy Custren
Taking a look around our world today, especially when using social media and mainstream news, hope seems to be in short supply. We can still count off any number of the problems released in the ancient story of Pandora. For the background of the story, read more on the Wikipedia page at this link:…Continue
Once there was a young boy who went through life feeling alone. Feeling as though he did not belong, and that everyone was busy doing this and that, but he did not fit in. He went to school and had a hard time learning because he had a learning disability, which made it difficult for him to read, write, and do math. It was frustrating for his parents that didn’t know what to do… so their frustration eventually grew to…Continue
Don’t Read This!
By William Bezanson
What? Are you still reading this? What did the title say?
Ah! I can guess that you are a rebel. You’re probably a wet paint toucher, too. If a sign says “Wet Paint”, you likely touch the painted object to check if the sign is correct.
I’m that way also. I’m a literalist. I saw a sign on a bridge once, stating “Do Not Pass”! So I stopped driving. I obeyed the sign. (It…Continue
