Me? A Victim? No way! Continue
Achieving our desires, including love, career success and happiness, involves dissolving our blocks. We are naturally wired for love, success, happiness and security. However, we go about throwing all kinds of blocks and walls in our way based on fear. Wrapping ourselves in the cape of victimization is one of those blocks. Life has it's ups and downs, for sure. Sometimes the ups are way up and sometimes the downs can be a bit shocking. When we face the unknown, and don’t know what’s coming, particularly when we’ve had bad news, it's even more unsettling.
We look for answers, but when we don’t find any, we’re at a loss. When you are in crisis and don’t know where to go, or what to do, how do you make it through… Continue

Our traumas can have a lasting effect on us. We may avoid situations that remind us of an event since the “pain” of remembering (feeling) at one time was too much to bear and we still think it is the case.
It is understandable as a child, that experiencing traumas, we may suppress feelings and the memories of such events to survive. This survival mechanism needs to be dealt with so that we do not run away and react unconsciously to events over and over when there is no danger… Continue

Anxious thoughts can hold you captive and keep you on a roller coaster of worry and fear. It seems that you are carried along by a cadre of thoughts over which you have no control. These thoughts wreak havoc on your mind and body. Your body bears the brunt of experiencing the hormonal cascade of adrenaline, norepinephrine and cortisol that come with being triggered by a thought that releases anxious energy into the body. The mind is assaulted by being… Continue

In the United States, fall marks a trifecta of holidays that snowball, picking up speed as they carry us,—often chaotically—from October through the New Year. The party starts with the distinctly non-religious (some would say pagan) celebration of Halloween; progresses to the spiritually inclusive embracing of gratitude that is Thanksgiving; and culminates in various religious observances ranging from Christmas to Hanukkah to Kwanza. Sadly, long before we reach Thanksgiving day, we are… Continue

Any story is a wonderful enterprise. If it were not, we might give doubt to our very existence. Being able to “tell” a story--well, we could say that is something we humans do best. At the very least, as a form of entertainment, we tell stories with great regularity. Almost all of us do manage, in some way, to tell a bit of our story to others. What… Continue

Your heart place is a place where you feel loved and feel at peace at all times. It is a place where the angels and your guides live too. There is no anger and hate there. There is no ego present either. It's more of a place where you are thinking with your heart and not with your head. In the first part of the article, I will talk about the emotions and feeling that you may have, when not living in the heart place. The second part of the article will be the 6…

It seems that when we're 'online', people say out loud all the things they might just THINK if we met in person. Social graces disappear and we get a mean, hurtful or abusive comment-slap when we least expect it.
Why do so many people make nasty comments online? Well, when we're online, there's a barrier that means we can't see the humanity of the other… Continue

We’ve lost our sacred down time, down through the ages we've had time to think, tell stories, and gather with friends and family, but no longer... time to regain that way of life!

When you love someone, you open yourself up to endless possibilities. Some of these we would rather not experience though, but most of us survive.
Loving others can be challenging and there are some who have chosen to close their hearts to love rather than allow vulnerability in our lives.
