In this modern age, people are always looking for the miracle cure. The thing to make them look younger, reduce wrinkles, reverse sun damage, clear up blemishes, etc. There are more products on the market and procedures in the doctors’ office than we can count, dedicated to skin care.
With November being healthy skin month, it may be fitting to talk about what our faces are really telling us, before we head to the drug store or the plastic surgeon.

Let’s look at the word. It seems so trivial to simply look at the word. Yet, according to the bible … the beginning came from the word. What was the word? The word was with God. Looking deeper now into this, the word is actually light and sound vibrations; a frequency to explain in general terms. Therefore, expanding even bigger, God created…Continue

One of the symbols of Autumn that reminds me of abundance is the pomegranate. It suggests to me the fruits of receptivity and the trustworthiness of inward knowing. Additionally, it signifies the fertile possibilities of the Unmanifest which are so aptly displayed by its plethora of seeds.

Around the time of the last harvest of the year, various cultures around the world share celebrations of bounty and thanks. We find ways of gathering together--bringing evidence of our energetic growth in nature and the annual warmth of friendship. We call it “thanksgiving” for a purpose, as it serves to embody our intention of offering a bit of ourselves in gratitude for…Continue
We are living in a very auspicious era: so many paths, healing methods, meditations, channelers, wonderful spiritual writers, so much information to dip into, choose from, try out, and experiment with — we can be like ‘butterflies’ with no clear goal. Or we can miss the magic opportunity and be put off by trigger words like “religion”, “God”, “Christianity”, “karma”, “Buddhism”, “reincarnation” and so on.
All genuine paths are based on the same simple…Continue
Where do we put our words, our emotions, our thoughts? What place do they occupy? We used to believe they existed solely in our physical brain. The fact is that very event, every reaction, every happy, cheerful, angry, judgmental or blustery response of ours goes directly into each and every cell of the physical body. Yes, in fact each cell of your body knows the entire personal history of your individual lifetime on earth! That being the case shouldn’t we give our…Continue

Life is not complicated. It never was, and never shall be! Life is simple, spontaneous, pristine and flowing, but that is not our experience. It appears to be quite a riddle and a juggle! Those who have practiced meditation for a long time, and have reached a state not so much of “practice,” but of “being,” tell us that all complications are our creation. We all know our happiest moments always come from the simplest things of life.
In our ego we create a myriad of…Continue

Leadership demands that we make tough choices. ~ Alan Autry
We have exercised the right to choose for many, many years. If you reminisce backwards, you’ll recognize at just how early of an age you were making choices. We become wiser in making choices as we mature, oftentimes because we made mistakes in earlier choices. You’ll want to help your children to make good choices in your role as their parent. How can you teach them right from wrong and help them to make…Continue

Moving on is the hardest thing to do. There is no real art or knack to it. It seems that no matter how many times you break up with someone moving on isn't something that gets any easier.
Many say time is a healer. Personally, I don't agree. I feel experience and…Continue
No doubt you have heard the expression “don't burn any bridges behind you”. When was the last time you heard or used that saying? Quite often it refers to situations where you are leaving a job, organization or service. You don't want to leave on a bad note as you never know, you may want that person to help you again, ask for the old job back or even move back into a relationship. Perhaps you have no…Continue

Shining Your Own Light
By Judi Lynch
"Never let anyone steal your thunder." Most of us have heard this phrase several times during our lives. We understand what it means intellectually but we might not always recognize it when it’s happening. It might just sneak up on us and before we realize it, we have forgotten to shield ourselves from the negativity which ignites our fears to strip away our confidence.
We are living beings of pure energy and we thrive on light and…Continue
We hear a lot of talk about becoming energy independent. That if we could just rely less on foreign oil, with that one fell swoop, we could boost our economy and secure our state. In truth, the United States is increasing its energy production, we have been meeting more of our energy needs, but at what cost? The reason for this increase in energy production is largely a result of shale gas production and what they call, Tight Oil. Both of these involve similar processes that require…Continue
How long have you been searching for your soulmate? How long have you been out there meeting people while looking for that fabulous relationship? How many psychic readings have you had over the years that said Mr. Right is just a few months away and he is still not here?
Many of us feel like we are at a dating dead end. Many of us are. Some have even been waiting years for the right person to come along. What might even be more frustrating is that you are out there, meeting people…

A game I enjoy playing when I am having a serious talk with someone or a group of people is to ask them to point to Heaven.
The typical scenario is a discussion that touches on religious topics. Many of my discussions are that way. I enjoy learning about peoples’ views about God, Christianity, church membership, other religions, and all sorts of related topics. I hate the small talk of weather,…
