There is never a moment that Creation is not “creation-ing.” At least in the realm of the Relative. Dimensions as levels of consciousness are infinitely coupling, begetting more Creation, into perpetuity—Its own power source. Every breath you take, every thought, every interaction is the grace, the magic, the mystery of the all-encompassing, boundless power of the Indivisible - One. …

Gratitude…it’s one of the words that we use over and over to express our appreciation for what we have in our lives whether it’s tangible or intangible. We are taught to have an “attitude of gratitude” as a way of good living. To be seen as not grateful is to be seen as selfish and greedy. Feeling gratitude makes us happy! It sends positive energy into the world. Who wouldn’t want to be in an “attitude of gratitude”?
But, what if gratitude was more than just…

Happy holistic Holidays, Charlie Brown!
"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose..." Whether it's Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanza, for many people around the world it's the time of year for celebration, family gatherings and togetherness. Based upon Numerology, 2014 is a 7 Universal Year ( 2+0+1+4=7). The energy of the Universal Year has influence upon the collective experience for everyone on the planet. Knowing the meaning of the Universal year Number lends insight into what we can expect to unfold in 2014.
I suspect we will have many revelations in 2014 which will bring to light information that was previously secret because the 7 is associated with uncovering the truth about things that are hidden. Could that mean…

The statement "You are God" seems an absurd and presumptuous blasphemy, so it needs to be clarified. According to the Vedic tradition and panentheism, it's not just you who are God; all of us are God. And it's not just all of us who are God; everything is God. God is the universe in synergy, the whole that is more than the sum of its parts.…

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~ Leo Buscaglia
Are you so busy with the things you merely do, that you find yourself not actively listening to the folks around you? Have there been communication breakdowns between you and them? If you’d like to increase the fluidity of the…

Many of us embark on personal journeys of healing.
Healing from old wounds, healing from traumatic childhoods, healing from old "addictive habits," even healing from what we might perceive as "past life junk."
The Highly Sensitive Person-- or "HSP"-- tends to be more "aware" of his or her inner world, and generally spends more time in introspection than most people. HSPs are also more aware of subtleties, feelings and tiny patterns which can be a wonderful gift... but it means…

Ayurveda is India's ancient mind/body healing medicine for promoting health and longevity.
According to its teachings our constitution is comprised of 3 doshas, which reflect our physiology, comprised of 5 dynamic elements (air, fire, ether, water, earth). The varied levels of each element signifies what your predominant dosha is. Health exists when there is a balance between the three doshas. The…

For the past fifteen years, I've used The Wizard of Oz to teach mythology, fairy tales, and Eastern philosophies to my college Literature students, sometimes three classes per semester, three semesters per year. Recently, instead of paying attention to the spiritual/transformational theme, I've taken greater note of my students' responses to the characters on the Oz adventure. Once Dorothy hooks up with her companions and skips along the yellow brick road in search of home and self,…

Being busy has become such a norm in our society that we often find ourselves feeling bad about what we are not doing, rather than taking a larger look at the societal imbalances. Whether we are students, employees, entrepreneurs, or at-home parents, there are usually more to-do’s on our list than there is time to do…

Aromatherapy, appropriately defined as the enahancement of mind, body, and spirit with the use of aromatic, botanical essential oils, has been on the forefront of holisitic healing for centuries. Stretching back through many ages and civilizations, plants and the use of essential oils have played a part in many cultures over many eras and several ancient civilizations had extensive knowledge of plants and their healing properties; among those including Egypt, China, India, Greece and Middle…

The experience of a new beginning is often times overshadowed by the experience of a painful ending. Old structures must break down in order for new and more advanced structures to rise up. Form is in a constant state of flux and it is only when we resist this notion that we suffer. Suffering is not caused by the ending or the breaking down of a current form. We experience suffering when we resist change by expecting things in the physical world to stay the same. We so often lose sight of…

This mental imagery technique helps you gain a perspective of your entire journey through life. The subconscious mind processes information not in terms of words and numbers but in terms of images and pictures. Mental imagery tools are effective communication channels to the body’s autonomic nervous system, the part of the neural network that regulates basic bodily functions, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and digestion. In this way, mental imagery techniques help you to manage your…
