What better subject to start a new year than failure? As strange as it seems to me, that is what the energy around me has been suggesting, and who am I to argue? There has been something in the air, asking me to question old beliefs about failure, look for new definitions or seek out different perspectives. Failure is a complex thing. It is not as simple as some would suggest, ie, if you’re not a winner, then you’ve lost, or if you haven’t succeeded, then you’ve failed. There are so many…Continue
Have you ever felt the lack of self accomplishments run so deep that the emotions dance around old wounds as if pouring salt onto them? Welcome to being human on planet earth. The opportunistic challenges offered on earth makes it by far one of the most difficult planets to incarnate on. An ever so filled environment of lower vibrations, materialistic needs and other challenges that entangle even the bravest of souls.
It is through the process of the web…Continue

It is time to give a voice to those who are gifted with dream visitations from the newly dead. These dreamers are emerging out of their own silence to share experiences about their dreams of earthbound ghosts and those effervescent spirits who they see lingering between the 3rd & 4th astral planes, resembling flashes of particles of light appearing and disappearing before…Continue
Have you ever wondered where your thoughts come from, why you believe what you believe, say what you say and do what you do? My father passed away from cancer in 1996, the doctor told him that he had 6 months to live and he died exactly 6 months later.
Do we create self fulfilling prophecies from suggestions, thoughts, words or opinions from ourselves or others? Is what’s happening in our lives our own creation or is it part of our destiny? Have you ever assumed something…Continue

Ending the first half of December 2012, I find it is the Dream Oracle Card ~ Dream Guides ~ speaking to most dreamers right now, trying to get their attention.
Many dreamers may not realize that their dream encounters are not always a manifestation of their minds, nor do these people have to be a…Continue

Regardless of the current economy, many people have struggled with money matters throughout their lives, trying to discover the "secret" to financial success only to come up a dollar short. Interestingly enough, many of these adults consider themselves "lightworkers,” but have not consciously made any vows of poverty.
Why is it that a spiritually centered, bright…Continue

It is an easy matter in our daily life to become focused on one task or desire so completely that the rest of our lives suffer. It is also possible to compartmentalize to the point where we are truly fragmented. A well rounded life must have many diverse but compatible components.
When we are experiencing physical pain, disease, mental confusion or depression the cause or trigger for the problem many times can be traced to a major lack of balance in our living. Whether…Continue

Today as I drove in to work, I listened to a radio station put out the question: who is responsible for the suicide of the nurse in the Middleton prank case? I heard callers respond with a range of reactions. Some people spoke about the fact that the pranksters had willfully put the nurse in a no-win situation, and that even if she had not killed herself, she…Continue
You might have read or heard that a tidy and clean space is conducive to success and a happy life, so de-cluttering is fundamental if we want to have a clear mind and feel great about ourselves. It is not just a rule of Feng Shui, but simply common sense!
By being a woman you have an extra gear to do this, because Nature has provided you with your menstrual cycle. You might wonder what that has to do with de-cluttering your home and your life? Well read on to find out…Continue
The world awoke one bright morning to find that the Sun was gone, replaced by a circular cardboard cut-out. The cut-out was roughly coloured in by a yellow pencil, with some of the colouring straying beyond the circumference of the disc and staining the blueness of the sky. Short cardboard rays were coming out of the rim and there was a smiley face sketched inside the circle. It looked just like a child’s drawing of the Sun.
After mankind had recovered from the shock of losing…

Let's face it, New Year's Resolutions are a cruel taskmaster. They are just an opportunity to put ourselves on the line one more time and then to guilt ourselves for not being able to follow through. I propose that it is better and more effective to make a bucket list at new year's rather than a list of resolutions. Living our…Continue

Do you know what the opposite of love is? It is fear. All of your feelings of dis-ease are spawned from fear. The anxiety, the apprehension, the anger, the hate, all the mean, nasty, ugly feelings that you can think up are from below the fear line. They vibrate at low levels and will eventually make you ill in body, mind and spirit.
Love is on the other end of this spectrum. All feelings of wholeness, bliss, joy and happiness and the bright, shiny, wonderful feelings you can call up,…Continue

You are seeking happiness and peace. You are not seeking anything else. Whatever may be the activity, whatever may be the thought, you are seeking happiness and joy and peace, nothing else. Let us not waste our time seeking peace and happiness outside of us; let us first find where we lost it, and then all is well.
One place we lose our peace and happiness is in our attachment to a certain outcome. For most of us, our actions and choices come from our ego. It is our vanity. We…Continue

Every year many of us make the same New Year’s resolutions. We resolve to eat less, exercise more, spend less, save more, be kinder to others and ourselves, and perhaps even help save our beautiful planet. Sounds inspiring, doesn’t it? We start out feeling pretty good about our healthy choices and altruistic spirit. Then the end of the year rolls around and we wonder, what happened?
Why is it so challenging to accomplish these resolutions and what can we do to break this cycle? When…

As we move into the New Year, we all get the itch to better ourselves. We make sweeping declarations that we are going to kick our bad habits, lose some weight and make the world a better place. These are all good goals, but they are coming from the wrong space. They are reactionary sentiments coming off a month of holiday parties, too many rum and eggnogs and decadent holiday squares. Causing your body, mind and maybe even your waistline to scream out, “enough”! It is for this simple…Continue

Live for the Day, and Not the Year! Baba Shuddhaanandaa Brahmachari The newness of the New Year should not be confined to the first of January only, but needs to be sustained by being awake to Divine Presence every new day, in every present moment. The Present is a gift that is to be unfolded so it can flood us with Grace unlimited each day of our lives. Once a wise man shared his pearl of wisdom: “Live everyday as if it is the first and last day of your life.” Like a diver, you can dip into…Continue
