Your loved ones, guides and angels are with you at all times. These “beings” are here to help. You only have to ask for their assistance, their guidance or their wisdom. Every individual can connect with spirit, but not everyone utilizes this gift. It takes practice and the ability to be at…

Marriage vows between two people are celebrated around the world. Vows are expected to be kept. Have you heard of any ceremony where people make vows to themselves?
We make promises to others through vows. How often do we make promises to ourselves? Do you have a personal vow that you recite once in a while? If not, why not?
Do I promise?
Do I promise to love myself unconditionally?
Do I promise to lift myself up…Continue

We've been living in a box for so long. This box tells us what should be important to us, how to define certain concepts, how to live etc. The bigger picture reveals that this box doesn't really work for us in the end and is in some way self-sabotaging and self-destructive. But, we think we must ignore this in order to keep trying to make the old box we live in work through filling it with fancy ideas which are not fully grounded in reality.
For example, espousing ideas of Love that…

Sitting in the relative stillness of the later part of the midnight hour, marveling at the fact that it has been over a month since I last published an article, the silence is striking. It does not compare to the cacophony of the natural world that takes over at night, yet it is what we have grown to know. If outdoors, we may be kept awake at night by nature’s dark symphony; while indoors, we are able to silence the external…Continue

Do you remember how the promise of a better world got you excited when everyone was expecting December 2012 to change everything and mark the beginning of a brighter future?
Now we look around and see what’s going on in the world, how much suffering and misery most of the population is going through, and we wonder if anything is really changing. Are we really moving forward or it is just a collective illusion we want to believe in?
It’s easy to lose hope in a world that is…Continue

“All is calm. All is bright…” The heralding in of a new year on the heels of what is regarded as the most universally celebrated holidays of the year is a time of great reflection for many. Beyond the commercial aspects, beyond the pageantry, and familial hoopla is the soul’s call for a silent night.
In the serene predawn hours, we awaken. A mysterious restlessness fills our being as we search our thoughts for an explanation for the interruption. Our lives flash before our eyes,…Continue

As the world prepares for the celebration of the advent of Jesus the Christ my heart sings the praise to the Master, who was truly a servant of his followers, his compassion like fragrance of fresh bloomed lotus, his love like a warm hug of most loving father-mother, his presence, as the very soul of one's own Self, always available to one who seeks the Light that he embodies. May we evoke that Light in our hearts and allow it to spread and heal the suffering humanity, millions and millions…Continue

Here we'll explore the connection between the spiritual Self and physical, mental and emotional health and well-being.
Spirituality in this instance does not necessarily mean religious. Although some articles will lean toward one certain religion or another, most will be geared toward spirituality in terms of living out your passion, expressing the divine energy inside you as a means of balancing your Self. If a part of you is being neglected or overworked, it can manifest in your…Continue
