All our political candidates need to be sent back to compassion school. They need to take vows before they run for office that they will have compassion for we the people, for each other, for our global family, for the earth. These candidates need to become more than talk show hosts or master of ceremonies trying to woo us for votes. We condone such terrible behavior on television, candidates attacking each other, doing anything to win. Politicians shouldn’t be allowed to act so hatefully…Continue

Suppose we combine our thoughts
Step up on our respective soapboxes
Call forth a revolution
Link our strengths
Scream peace to the masses
Infiltrate with knowledge and information
Is it not worth a try?
Suppose with one word
To the right person
That we –
Could change the world

Through the caverns of the clouds
A luminous awakening approaches
Only those lucid to the truth
Shall see what mankind has become
When the layers of misguidance
And cloy misconceptions are peeled away
Those still blind
Will be our purpose
and our insanity
I look to the downtrodden sky
Discerning, that soon
The heavens will unleash upon the earth
An unsuspected solitude
Wrapped in a prism of hope
Heal thyself –…

I Believe in Angels
by Judi Lynch
I’ve seen them
On a lonely night
In a glowing light
Many of us grew up with either reading the Peanuts comic in the newspaper or watching the now traditional cartoons at Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since its creation in 1950 until its creator died in February 2000, many life lessons were portrayed through these simple yet timeless stories. When you think back over the various cartoons you can see where the lessons of growing up and life in general were played out. We always felt sorry for poor Charlie Brown, good guy who never…Continue

Healing the Past, Manifesting the Future
by Judi Lynch
Wherever we are in the personal timelines we are now living on Earth, we accumulate a lot of past events and emotions in our process of evolvement. These events are part of our spiritual DNA, the core of our soul’s purpose and life themes. How we heal or don’t heal from it all is up to us. It is a measure of our courage, our faith, our ability to accept that there are forces out there that heal and sustain us as well as…Continue
When we are under pressure and stress we behave and react differently than when we are content and happy. We sometimes get upset when our friends and family, under stress, behave in a strange, indirect or childish manner. We may get upset or misread their behavior by leaving them alone when they actually need our attention the most.
Do you know how your mate, friends or family behave when under stress? How do you communicate under stress? Do you talk about the source of…Continue

To the ancient agrarian societies whose lives revolved around the harvest, the year was seen as a great wheel that turned through the seasons, and with the end of October came the death of the Sun God. The shorter days and long cool nights haled the coming of winter, the season of hunger and death. The full moon of October was often called the blood moon because this was the month to kill and salt down livestock, for only the choicest stock was kept to be fed and coddled through the harsh…Continue

Sustainable Health Nutshell: Eat a simple easy-to-digest breakfast that's easy on your digestive system and the planet. Try stewed apples or well-cooked grains, and use sweet pungent spices like cardamom, clove, and cinnamon to help wake up your body!
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day- but not for the reasons that probably come to mind first. It helps to think of our digestive system as a big kitchen- everything we eat has to be 'cooked' to be processed and used to…Continue
Have you ever suffered the emotional knifing of a relationship breakup? Why does it hurt so damn much? Why don’t we say “NEXT!” and smile joyfully as we trip down the road to the Plenty More Fish shop?
The sudden and aching void that forms when your honey, who you thought was your only soul mate, best friend, lover and life companion, gives you the news that “it’s over” can send you down a very dark road.
It can be a period of deep analysis tinged with daily oscillation from…Continue

The following article was written by my husband who is a well respected individual within the HSP Community on and off the internet. I work almost exclusively with HSP's because I understand them, and I speak their "language" -- I am HSP.
“I am a Highly Sensitive Person.”
Today, I can publicly make such a statement and not feel embarrassed or brace for an onslaught of eye rolling or snide comments from the people around me. However, it wasn’t always…Continue
