The well known theory of Charles Darwin explains the influence of evolution on the physical features of living things. Here is a theory(original) of mine, which uses basic rules of science and logic, and real life examples to show that the process may also have a very well defined effect on our mind. This theory extends the theory of Evolution into our mental world.
a) We live in a cosmic force-field, created by the force which is causing the process of…Continue

Often, when we acknowledge and accept a new truth, and adjust our logic accordingly, pieces start to fall into place like the pieces of a puzzle, and answers start coming up to many other important questions of life. About 470 years ago, people used to believe that the sun revolves around the earth. Then around 1543, Nicholas Copernicus theorized that the reverse is true .People accepted the new truth, updated their logic, and started a new phase of evolution. We know the rest of the…Continue

I remember an evening - a long time ago, in my childhood, when my Dida (grandmother) came to our house. I was supposed to do my homework, but couldn’t put my mind into it. Because Dida was a great story teller - mainly dealing with the supernatural! I was dragging my feet, and my mother was scolding me for not finishing my homework quickly. I was trying hard to finish it, but just couldn’t do it - my mind was so distracted to listen to a Dida’s story! My mother kept on checking on…Continue

We all know that a feud is going on between Science and Religion, on the theory of evolution for a long time. Bill Nye the Science Guy visited Kentucky (Feb 4, 2014) for a creation-vs.-evolution debate with Creation Museum founder Ken Ham. But is Science’s theory of evolution really going against Religion? Let’s analyze it a bit to examine the important things that both sides are saying, and if they are contradicting each other!
The most sought after element in our lives is probably…Continue
The pioneers of Positive Psychology are trying to nail down a formula for finding happiness, and they deserve tremendous praise for doing it. Happiness is probably the most important reward of our life, and it may have much deeper significance than we realize at present. But I won’t be surprised if the interest in Positive Psychology gradually fades over time, as people may fail to develop a conviction in it, unless it can show a logical and scientific relationship between the activities it…Continue

A new identity of Happiness (and its far-reaching implications):
During our period of time called life, we perform certain activities, enjoy our senses through good feelings called "happiness", and then die, and a new living being takes our place, and repeats the same cycle. If we go a bit deeper, we can find a more urgent identity of happiness, with a much more profound purpose for us than we normally believe!
We know through science that a supreme activity,…Continue
It probably happens to most of us at times of our lives, that a vague feeling of unhappiness - a feeling of emptiness appears even when we are doing well in the practical world, and we can’t find the reason for it! It can be frustrating, but it can also be a good sign! Because it may mean that a healthy mind is looking for a deeper satisfaction and happiness in life, but it doesn’t know how to find it. And time is passing!
I had the same unhappy feelings intermittently in my life,…Continue
