10 Tips for How To Have A Mind Which Is Open To Everything And Attached To Nothing

During our growing up years, we learn a great deal about life.  Many of us think that what we’ve learned is the only was to look at life, since we are insulated by our family.  As we mature, we discover that there is a great deal beyond what we learned as little children. We learn, perhaps, that some of what we were told may not be accurate, and that our mindset should be adjusted.

We learn that there is a great deal more than what we currently know. We learn that there is a wide variety of beliefs covering the same basis of what we’ve learned.  We discover there are limitless ways to consider many ideas and then we learn that there are ways to observe the phenomena of life from a more universal perspective that allows each his take on things and ideas without judgment or blame.

The following ten tips are part of that universal perspective and I hope you enjoy viewing your life through the lens of these ideas.

  1. The universe is limitless and infinite….unless you think otherwise.
  2. Ignore the negative input of others.  Focus instead on what YOU think of YOU.
  3. Be solution-focused and not problem-focused.
  4. Write down whatever you think is possible to achieve and you will.
  5. The only approval worth having is your own.
  6. What you think truly is what you get.  Begin with one positive thought and put your focus there.  It will grow and grow and grow.
  7. Your beliefs and your convictions always need upgrading.  How many are still the input from your parents, teachers, and friends?  You need to create and follow only your own beliefs and convictions.
  8. Let go intentionally of things you think you must have or be.  Don’t attach your success or your happiness to anything but your own Big Dream.
  9. Allow all others to be themselves without your input.  You are capable of unfolding your Self and so are they.
  10.  True love is absolute acceptance of yourself and all individuals as is, not what you think they ought to become.

No idea should simply be swallowed whole without first testing it.  I recommend that you run an experiment – or more than one – to test each of these ten ideas to be sure they are valid and work as they stand. With these ten ideas in place and operating in your life, you will have an open mind, zero attachments to just “one way” and more tolerance for the thoughts of others. We are all on the same path. We are not all in the same place on that path.

Hi, Maria! Thank you for your submission. This list looks like it would be helpful; however, the word count is a bit low to include it as a full article. Would you be able to enlarge it, perhaps, by including a brief example that might describe each of your points?

Also, be sure to include a bio paragraph at the end, please? Message me if you have any questions. ~ Blessings!
