“23 Benefits of Ajowain or Carom Seeds”

Ajowain seeds or sometimes spelled “ajwain” grows in the Middle East and India and it’s part of the fennel and caraway seed family.

There are many health benefits of ajowain seeds and I highly recommend you add them to your medicine chest. 

Powerful -  In India ajowain seeds are considered one of the best all around treatments for the body. 

Protects the Liver - Studies show that ajowain seeds boost up superoxide dismutase and glutathione S-transferase thus helping to protect the liver from the toxins and free radicals. 

Powerful Antioxidants - Ajowain seeds contain powerful antioxidants that help to prevent disease. 

Cancer - Ajowain seeds contain compounds that help to prevent and kill cancer cells according to recent studies.
