Coconut Oil - Coconut oil has been shown to slow and stop the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. It contains caprylic acid that helps prevent and slow the progression of the disease.
CoQ10 - This great supplement has been found to slow the progression of the disease. Being a powerful antioxidant it has the ability to bind up free radicals and slow the ageing process.
Omega 3 Oils - Omega 3 Fatty Acids may help fight Alzheimer’s disease and slow the progression. It seems to slow the progression age related decline… you can find these oils in chlorella, fish, nuts, seeds, and many other sources.
Ginkgo Biloba - There are some studies that show Ginkgo can increase blood flow to the brain and thus help with Alzheimer’s, but others say it does not work at all. Personally I’ve found Ginkgo to work for some people… you’ll have to try it to see if it works for you.
Ashwagandha Root - New research shows that Ashwagandha Root just might help restore cognitive power, and heal neural plagues, plus help in the regeneration of nerve cells. More research to be done. Plus stress is another agent that may be a causing factor in the onset of Alzheimer’s disease and Ashwagandha Root works wonders for stress.
Heavy Metals - Some research shows that heavy metals may be implicated in the process of Alzheimer’s disease… so stay away from aluminium, lead, mercury, and all the other heavy metals. Once a year do a heavy metal cleans with chelating agents that remove the metals from your body.
No Soda - Soda has been implicated in the possible mental decline of people, make sure to stay away from these fizzy sweet drink… which has also been proven to cause kidney disease.
No Sugar - Eating lots of sugar has been implicated in possibly causing early mental decline.
No GMO Foods - New research shows that the roundup in GMO foods may be one of the major causes of mental decline. Also GMO foods have been show to cause cancer starting in the 4th month of consuming these foods.
Eat Organic - Organic foods are pesticide free, chemical free, and are all natural and help you to stay healthy and maintain a vital mental capacity.
Green Leafy Veggies - These antioxidant rich foods help to slow the ageing process and thus help to prevent the premature ageing. And eat as much raw food as possible, when we cook food 75% of the nutrients are lost and 100% of the natural enzymes.
No Wheat- Wheat is full of lots of carbs and those carbs have been implicated as one cause of Alzheimer’s disease. In this day and age people eat lots of carbs and thus we have a possibility of having lots of cognitive decline… we must stay away from wheat.
Lots of Water - The brain contains a very high content of water and thus needs natural H2O to function correctly. Drink lots of reverse osmosis water and filtered water for good brain function.
Coral Calcium - Some people say that coral calcium may help with Alzheimer’s disease but to date there have been no double blind studies to confirm this.
Mental Activity - It’s very important to have daily mental activity… the brain thrives in being used and when not used starts to decline. Take a class, meet with friends, have fun, go places, visit people, this will keep you vital and alert.
Community - It’s vitally important to have a community of people around you that love you and care about you. You need lots of people who are active and get out and do things together. This is very important for good mental clarity as we age.
Huperzine A - Which is made from a moss, this supplement has be sought after because some people say it works well for Alzheimer’s disease. So far there have been no clinical trials that have proven this.
Exercise - There have been many studies showing that exercise is vitally important for preventing cognitive decline… so walk, swim, or anything else that keeps you moving.
Phosphatidylserine - This special fat makes up one of the components of the coverings of nervous tissue… and studies show positive results for those taking the supplement.
B Vitamins - B Vitamins are powerful antioxidants that bind up free radicals thus helping to slow the ageing process… and age related symptoms such as mental decline.
Natural Antioxidants - Taking any kind of powerful antioxidant such as avocado seed, blue berries, acai berries, maqui berries, and more… gather up free radicals and help prevent age related disease.
Homeopathic Treatments - There are a number of homeopathic treatments for Alzheimer’s disease including Nux Vomica, Natrum Sulf, and Baryta Carb which all have different ways of working… check with your local homeopathic doctors in your area.
Turmeric - This powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory is very good for the mind and body in general and studies show it helps with Alzheimer’s disease.

Massage Therapy - Massage has been used for ages for those in mental decline and there is good evidence that massage helps the mind/body.
Aromatherapy - Aromatherapy is very powerful and specific types of oils do bring about mental alertness. Lemon oil, lavender oil, and many other oils may help those with Alzheimer’s disease.
Vitamin D and Sunlight - Vitamin D is very important for good mental clarity and as we age many of us stay indoors more often than we should… which may cause mental decline. Get out in the sun, work in the yard, walk outside, whatever you can do to get some natural sun and thus create vitamin D.
