Lots of people talk about detoxing your liver and feeling better… but what are the signs of liver toxicity?
Here are a few things that liver toxicity can cause.
Brain Fog - Toxins build up in the liver because we live in a toxic world and when the liver is over loaded with lots of toxins they can cause an inability to think clearly.
Itching - Many times liver toxicity can cause lots of itching in general, and if you are around toxins you itch even more.
Lack of Energy - People with liver toxicity have no energy, they drag all the time and feel heavy… and just the thought of working out makes them tired.
Blood Pressure Goes Up - Many times people with liver toxicity also have their blood pressure go up because of portal hypertension.
Blood Sugar Goes Up - Also blood sugar goes up because of insulin resistance.
Edema - Liver toxicity can lead to edema and stocking in many parts of the body.
Internal Bleeding - High blood pressure to internal organs can cause bleeding and this very damaging.
Sensitivity - Being liver toxic you can become sensitive to almost anything you take… including medications and foods.
Feel Hot - Many times people who feel hot all the time may have liver toxicity.
Allergic Reactions - You start to have allergic reactions and these reactions can sometimes be life threatening.
Poor Immune System - If you come down with colds and flues all the time.
Nightshades - If you have problems digesting tomatoes, goji berries, eggplant or other nightshade veggies and fruits it just might be because of liver toxicity.

Arthritis - Your joints become painful with swelling and redness.

GI Problems - If you have constant heartburn, indigestion, gas, bloating and other associated problems you might have liver toxicity.
High Triglycerides - Your liver makes triglycerides from the break down of food, and when you have liver toxicity you might have high trigs.
Liver Cancer - Toxicity can possibly lead to cancer and this is seen especially in older people.
Vitamins and Minerals - If you are low in Vitamins A, B’s, D, E, and K, and also some minerals like iron and copper you might have liver toxicity.
Headaches - If you have headaches and migraines all the time you might have liver toxicity.
Hepatitis - Liver toxicity might also increase the possibility of coming down with hepatitis.
Fatty Liver - If you have fatty liver disease this sometimes is associated with liver toxicity.
Chronic Illness - If you’re always getting sick it might be because of liver toxicity.
Depression - If you feel down all the time, have bouts of anger, just don’t feel right, even being bipolar can be caused by liver toxicity.
Mental Confusion - If you can’t think, feel confused, and can’t concentrate… all of that can be because of liver toxicity.
Cravings - If you crave sugar or alcohol this too might be caused by liver toxicity.
Eye Problems - If you don’t see well it might be cause by liver toxicity, liver toxicity can cause cataracts, spots, floaters, dry eyes, sore eyes, and other eye problems.
Nails and Hair - If you nails are brittle, cracked, look yellow, and if your hair lacks luster, looks thin, and you lose lots of hair all the time… it might be cause by liver toxicity.
Poor appetite - If you don’t feel like eating that might be caused by liver toxicity too.
Hormone Problems - If your hormones are always out of balance it can also be caused by liver toxicity. Also mood swings, hot flashes, fibroids, tender breasts, PMS, missed periods, heavy periods, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, low sex drive, impotence… and more can be caused by liver toxicity.
Terrible Smelling Stools - If you go to the bathroom and your stools smell terrible, putrid, and overwhelming it might be because of liver toxicity.
Gas - With liver toxicity you can also have lots of gas and bloating.
Proteins - If you don’t digest proteins well… that might have to do with liver toxicity.
Skin Tone - Your skin may be pale or your skin might look yellow… and the whites of your eyes can turn yellow because of liver toxicity. Bad Breath - If you have bad breath and a coated tongue that too might be associated with liver toxicity.
Insomnia - Many times people with liver toxicity toss and turn all night unable to get to sleep or stay asleep.
Constipation - Your liver helps you go to the bathroom… so if you are constantly constipated you might have liver toxicity.
What Causes Liver Toxicity - There are a number of reasons for liver toxicity including, terrible eating habits, eating food which lacks nutrition, eating high fat and high calorie foods, lack of exercise, taking lots of medications or over the counter drugs, pesticides, heavy metals, preservatives, artificial sweeteners and colours, alcohol, smoking, and much more.
