“7 Natural Ways of Healing Schizophrenia”

“There are many people who have schizophrenia and there are natural ways of healing this challenge.”

Most people with schizophrenia are put on heavy medications that help in the short run… but many times in the long run do nothing.

Here are a few things that may help with schizophrenia.

Bacopa Monnieri - Bacopa Monnieri Powder has been shown in studies at the University of Wollongong, Australia to greatly improve short term memory. Other studies have shown that Bacopa Monnieri Powder is good for depression, anxiety, stress… and loss of cognitive ability when taking epileptic drugs. And a study in India has shown that Bacopa Monnieri Powder has promise in the treatment of attention deficit disorder and for treating schizophrenia. The exact mechanism as to how Bacopa stabilizes brain chemistry is not known… but it does seem to work for some people. Most take Bacopa Powder at the rate of 500 mgs daily… and it can be found on-line or at your local health food store.

Panax Ginseng - This wonderful herb is great for mental clarity as we grow older, and for everyday work and helps with stress and prevents fatigue. It boosts memory and at the same time helps with mental clarity and our ability to concentrate on the job. Some recommend taking Ginseng with ginkgo biloba for an additional increase of blood flow to the brain thus staving off mental disfunction… and this may help with Alzheimer’s disease and schizophrenia. And there’s evidence that Ginseng helps with mood enhancement by bringing about a sense of well being and happiness. And it also seems to bring about a lowering of negative schizophrenia symptoms. Remember it’s only the Panax Ginseng, none of the others seem to make a difference with schizophrenia. Most people recommend taking 200 to 300 mgs of Panax Ginseng daily. Panax Ginseng can be found on-line or asked for at your local health food store.

Yoga - Yoga brings about a calming of the mind and brings peace to any individual. Daily yoga practice does seem to make a difference those suffering from schizophrenia by lowering of their symptoms. Find a good yoga teacher near you, one that’s aquatinted with working with those suffering from schizophrenia.

Diet - Diet is extremely important for those who suffering from schizophrenia. With all the food additives, food chemicals, artificial flavors, artificial colors and sweeteners, hormones, antibiotics, GMO Foods, and other terrible chemicals in our foods supply it’s very important to eat organic food. See link to Whole Foods/Plant Based Diet and Lifestyle article - http://paulhaider.wordpress.com/2013/09/17/the-whole-foods-plant-ba...

And this diet is full of powerful antioxidants and good fats such as avocados, flax seeds, and nuts that can also help with the symptoms of schizophrenia.

Meditation - People have found that meditation alone completely cured their schizophrenia - Wow! And they tried all the medications, herbs, chiropractic adjustments, vitamins, supplements, chanting, and everything else and nothing, and I mean nothing worked except Meditation… and they were cured within a few weeks. That’s a powerful testimonial about meditation and what it can do.

Try a FREE 10 Day Vipassana Meditation Retreat - go to http://www.dhamma.org/en/locations/directory#003 these retreats are given all over the world by people who have attended them before and know how powerful they can be. And the food and lodging are also FREE

Try TM Meditation - TM has been around for a long time and it helps our service men and women who are suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and coming back from all the terrible wars overseas. Go to www.tm.org and find a TM teacher near you.

Do some research on the internet and you’ll find lots of testimonials from people with schizophrenia who used meditation to cure their schizophrenia.

Gluten Free Diet - Some people who suffered from schizophrenia and found that just leaving out gluten from their diet turned everything around. Removing all wheat, barley, spelt, and rye from their diet. Celiac disease and gluten intolerance can lead to brain chemistry changes that cause schizophrenia. A gluten free diet can lower symptoms or end schizophrenia all together.

From a Spiritual Perspective - Spiritually those who have visions, hallucinations, and hear voices back though history where those who went on to become shaman, healers, and medicine men of indigenous tribes all over the world. In fact there are accounts of young people with schizophrenia who tried everything, and by chance ended up meeting people who were spiritual, and these people guided them through their spiritual ascension and were cured.

There was a young boy who had schizophrenia who went to every doctor and took every medication and nothing helped. A doctor from Africa saw him and asked the parents if he could take the young boy to Africa… and because they had tried everything so they said yes.

The young boy went to Africa and lived with a tribe and learned about healing and spirituality from the tribal medicine men. He was there for 3 years and became totally cured of schizophrenia. The young boy now 13 asked to stat in Africa and learn more about himself and healing. Later he went to college in the states and became a psychologist and now helps others with mental challenges.

- True Story.

Another man who was schizophrenic took all kinds of medications, did every kind of therapy and nothing helped. Then he found a Ayurvedic Medicine Practitioner who told him he was having a spiritual experience and to be open to the experience…. and not listen to all the people around him.

All of a sudden he knew sand script, could speak in other languages, and new all about Ayurvedic Astrology, and he never studied any of this, it just came to him out of thin air, and now he’s a well known Ayurvedic Astrologer. - True Story.

Not everything that we deem as abnormal really is abnormal, it’s just something outside of our realm of understanding.

Try some of these and see what works for you.
