I was on my way out the other morning, planning a store run and to stop at a friend's place nearby for a short visit. As I was leaving, I received a message from one of my guides that said, "Bring her a book." Which book would that be?" I said out loud as I looked around at the bookshelves all around me. No, not that one, nope not that one either I heard. I looked over at the stack of books sitting under the rabbit ears on top of the old tv. The stack was piled just high enough to get several channels if the ears were turned just right. I looked through the stack and one book seemed to glow. Yeah, that one! The cover was well-worn and looked a hundred years old.
A few minutes later I was standing in my friend's office talking to her and a friend of hers who had come by that day to help her clean. I told her I had brought an old book I had found at the thrift store one day and I thought she might like to read it. It was titled Angels on Assignment. She thanked me, set it on the desk and the three of us started talking about my work. Her friend started asking questions and then she asked me if I might be able to help her. I said I would sure try.
She told me she had lost her daughter to illness not very long ago and was there anything I might be able to tell her to give her peace. Immeditately her aura and everything around her turned a beautiful shade of pink and I heard "Tell Momma I'm here and I'm okay" The only thing I knew to say was "Wow, you are surrounded by pink!" "That was her favorite color.", she said. "She had cerebral palsy, had suffered from seizures, and she loved the color pink." She then asked me if her daughter had really spoken one day and said "Momma" out loud or had it just been her imagination. I told her what I had just heard a few minutes before, at the same time I saw the pink. I had not realized that her daughter had been unable to speak. "I knew it! I knew she said it one day and no one had believed me!" She said "I used to call her my pink Angel" The book! Out of all the books in my house, I had picked up the old tattered one from the thrift store that glowed. The book about Angels.
And so we spent the next few minutes talking and crying and hugging before I left. I told her that her daughter came to visit a lot and that she was always putting her hand on her mom's shoulders to see if she could feel it. "I feel her energy there all the time, that's right where I feel it" she said. As we talked, we validated several more things about her daughter. Her whole face was glowing now and she was smiling. "Thank you." When I got back home, I had to fight back the tears thinking about what she must have gone through. I knew she would still have good days and not so good in processing her feelings, but at least today she had something to smile about.
I was again reminded that sometimes you may not know exactly why the message to do something out of the norm comes in, but when you listen, miracles can occur. Wherever you go, whoever you connect with, you never know who is out there waiting to hear the message you were meant to bring. This beautiful synchronicity is one of the ingredients needed to help us all heal and ascend this Earth.
