Authenticity is finding the truth inside, the souls quiet inner voice reaches out, and speaks in the silence. How often does one reflect the false self?
The false image is created by another individual? When they hold up the mirror it blinds the eyes. The sound of the inner and outer negative critic become poison to the soul. Words become the arrow which wound the inner child. The emotion is real. The thoughts are real. The fear is real. The anxiety is real. The natural response is to withdrawal, to stand protected out of sight. The easy comfortable position is to hide from those in the external world.
Authenticity is standing in one’s own truth, unafraid to speak from the heart, unaffected by the negative words heard from the external world outside. “Perhaps on today it is safe to appear, show up for myself, and face every fear.”
In contemplation, the sound of silence reflects the internal world, the honest true voice that navigates the way into the positive vibration of love. Love is all there is in life. “For I, must find self-worth, self-love, and self-respect before I am able to receive love.”
The false self is a mask one where’s to hide the inner emotional pain of being rejected and abandoned time after time. The false self is a protective way to survive. “Am I finished having the need to fight and survive or am I ready to lay down the weapons of war, and choose love for the first time?”
The authentic self is liberating the soul to come alive and thrive. It’s safe to be real and genuine. It’s safe to come out of the shadow’s.
Love embraces the secure nature of being grounded and centered. Events may happen, yet, events never define one’s identity.
Identity is lost only in the violence of the storm. The storm is illuminated by a diverse landscape of ideals, opinions, and beliefs. Identity is lost in the chaos and confusion of the world.
The authentic self is courageous and strong. The truth is revealed in the moment of clarity and focus. Love is the language of peace. Harmony begins within one’s self. The feminine and masculine come in balance, and become one. In the silence, all there can be is one heartbeat.
The only way to find the authentic self is by digging deeper into the subconscious mind, and unpacking all the self-limiting fears, self-limiting beliefs, and recognizing at the end of the journey, it’s time to show up for self. After all the emotional and mental pain, has ended, the final answer comes alive inside. “All I ever had to do in life was show up for myself. After all these years, the truth is revealed. I abandoned myself because someone else held up the mirror, and I never saw my authentic self. I abandoned myself, because they abandoned themselves.
