It has happened again, an early-morning jam session in my head and heart that needs to make its way into the material world. There are basic things we need to keep in mind that can really help us. A friend asks that I write simply, so here we go…back to basics and easy words of “hope” and “trust.” I invite you to share this message with those you love.Frustration comes when we try to control things that are beyond our control. There are times in life when we see that things just happen, good and bad. We can only do our best to go with whatever comes our way, to the best of our ability. We also happen to have some free and AWESOME tools at our disposal, if we choose to utilize them.Long before we had such things as ‘belief systems,’ we all went with the flow or the natural progression of things. Were there problems and troubles? Of course! If we understand that nothing is perfect, we realize that we cannot be trouble-free all the time. That is the nature of risk and life itself…that we cannot always be fully safe and protected. We can try to influence as much as we like, but even with the best of order, systems and services, we cannot force something or someone from its natural progression, evolution, or course of change. It boils down to the need to trust in how the process of change will go. Trust that each individual and all of us as a whole will progress in the way we must go.Hand-in-hand with trust lays hope. Hope is something we enjoy, and there really is a lot of hope and possibility out there if we look for it. It just happens. If we forget that it is something to find, then we lose sight of that possibility. It is not going to just jump out from under a rock and announce its presence in our life. We have to go through the process of lifting up the rock before we will see it. We need to seek out hope, even in the most awful circumstance. In order for it to reach us, we need to accept hope and then trust in the possibility we choose. This is how the two, hope and trust, go so well together.
We recognize that we can get a good level of comfort in life from knowing and understanding how hope and trust go together. No matter how things change, let the light shine in your life. Trust, and never give up hope.
Namaste ~ Blessings!
