Fat Burning Soup Recipe

2 Large Bunches Green Onions

2 Bell Peppers

2 28 oz. Cans Tomatoes (can be placed in blender)

1 Bunch Celery

1 Large Head Cabbage

1 Pkg. Lipton Onion Soup Mix

2 Bouillon Cubes (optional)

Several cloves of garlic or bottled garlic (optional)

Several Bay Leaves (optional)Cut vegetables in small bite-size pieces.

Put all vegetables except tomatoes in pot. You can just cover with water or add 3 ½ - 4 cups of water. Boil fast for 10 minutes. Cut heat down and simmer for approximately 30 minutes until veggies are tender. Add tomatoes along with the juice. Bring to a boil and heat thoroughly. Add soup mix and simmer for 10 minutes. May be seasoned with salt, pepper, parsley, curry, oregano, basil and thyme to taste. Add extra cabbage and tomatoes if desired.

Day 1

All fruits, except bananas. Your first day will consist of all the fruits you want except bananas. Cantaloupes and watermelons are lower in calories than most fruits. Eat your soup and fruits the first day. For drinks: unsweetened tea, cranberry juice or water.

Day 2

All vegetables. Eat until you are stuffed with all the fresh raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. Try to eat leafy green veggies and stay away from dry beans, peas and corn. Eat all the veggies you want along with your soup. At dinner time you may reward yourself with a baked potato and butter. Eat all the soup you want this day also, but do not eat any fruit.

Day 3

Mix day one and two. Eat all the soup, fruits and veggies you want. You cannot have bananas or a baked potato this day.If you have eaten for the 3 days as above and have not cheated, you will find you have lost 5-7 pounds.

Day 4

Bananas and skim milk. Eat as many as 8 bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you can on this day along with your soup. Bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates and so is milk, but on this particular day of your diet you body will need the potassium and the carbohydrates, protein and calcium to lesson the craving for sweets.

Day 5

Beef and tomatoes. You many have 10 to 20 ounces of beef and a can or tomatoes or as many as 6 fresh tomatoes on this day. Try to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water this day to wash out the uric acid in your body. Eat your soup at least once this day.

Suggestion: You can make hamburger patties – easy recipe

1lb chopped Sirloin (lean)

1 small chopped onion

1 egg

2 tbsp. Rotelle Tomatoes

2 tbsp. Bran Salt/Pepper if desired

Broil until done. Then refrigerate in air-tight container.

Day 6

Beef and veggies. Eat to your heart’s content of beef, and veggies this day. You can even have 2 or 3 steaks if you like with leafy green veggies. NO BAKED POTATO. Be sure to eat soup at least once this day.

Day 7

Brown Rice, unsweetened fruit juices and veggies. Again, stuff, stuff, stuff and stuff yourself more. Be sure to eat soup at least once today. (Rice can be mixed in with soup for variation)

At the end of the seventh day, if you have not cheated on the above diet, you will find that you have lost 10-17 pounds. If you have lost more than 15 pounds, stay off the diet for 2 days before you resume the diet.

This 7 day eating plan may be used as often as you like. As a matter of fact, if correctly followed, it will clean your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well-being as never before. In just a few days of the process you will begin to feel lighter by at least 10 pounds and have an abundance of energy. Continue this plan as long as you wish and feel the difference.

This diet is a fast burning diet and the secret is that you will burn more calories than you take in. This diet does not lend itself to drinking ANY alcoholic beverages at any time become of the removal of fat build-up in your system. Go off the diet for at least 24 hours before intake of any alcohol.

Because everyone’s digestive system is different, this diet will affect everyone differently. After day 3 you will have more energy than when you began if you do not cheat. After being on the diet for several days, you will find your bowel movement has changed. Eat a cup of bran (fiber). Although you can have black coffee with this diet, you may find that you don’t need caffeine after the third day.

Personal Experience with the Soup:
I needed to lose some extra pounds rapidly. I was told by my Oncologist that fat breaks down and turns to estrogen, which my particular cancer thrives in. My family has had this recipe for years (we did not create it, but it is very effective) and I wanted to share it with you. It reminds me in many ways of the foods recommended for "The Maker's Diet."

Wish me luck as I begin to seriously address my weight problem. I am hopeful that shedding a few pounds will also take a huge burden off of my right knee - now that I have been told the pain I feel is from arthritis. For me losing this weight is a matter of life and death (although not instantly.) I want quality of life and it is about time I invest the time and energy in myself to prevent future problems and deal with current ones.

Definite NO-NO’s: No bread, no alcoholic drinks, no carbonated drinks (not even tab or other diet drinks). Stick with water, unsweetened fruit juices, cranberry juice, unsweetened tea, black coffee, and skim milk (on the day allowed). No fried foods. You may eat broiled or baked chicken instead of beef-absolutely no skin on the chicken. If you prefer, you may substitute broiled fish for the beef on only one of the beef days. You need high protein in the beef the other day.The basic fat-burning soup may be eaten at any time when you feel hungry. Eat as much as wish as often as you like. This soup will not add calories—so remember the more you eat, the more you will lose.Any prescribed medication will not hurt you on this diet. Continue this plan as long as you wish and feel the difference in both mental and physical disposition.
