Last month John Corsa, clairsentient intuitive and crystologist, and I went to the INATS metaphysical show at the Denver Merchandise Mart. Besides the fabulous collections of crystals and fun things to wear and the inviting "bookstores" that Llewellyn and Hay House created, we stumbled upon a display of pink salt items, which captured me completely. Lights and soaps and hearts and all kinds of lit up pink, pure Himalayan salt. I kept going back to the table to purchase more goodies.
I settled on a salt lamp for myself. The Himalayan salt is purifying and sparkly. I got a bar of it for the shower. It feels really smooth as you run it over your skin and then anywhere that needs purifying you will feel a distinct, sharp tingle and sometimes a yee-ow! Sparkly, salt clean - yum!
So have I this cool lamp, which I have placed on a table/counter in the kitchen, where I write these days. I love looking at the soft, pick glow that comes off that lamp. I just always feel good when I look at it. So the other day I go to turn on the lamp and nothing happens. I click the switch a few times- nothing. I take the lamp apart and think perhaps it is the bulb needs replacing. I go to the store, purchase another bulb, replace it. Nothing. mmm... I go into the crazy, little story in my head, the one that tells me that I break everything I own and it must be my fault that this lamp is not working. That's old family crap, and even though I have worked on clearing crap for I years beyond count, occasionally that old crap will surface, triggered by the most unlikely things, in this case-a salt lamp.
Then I hear the voice in my head, the guidance, my intuitive, all-knowing SELF, and it says, "Check the plug. Is it plugged in?" It wasn't. I plugged it back in and voila! lovely pink light once again. Which is all to say that when your light is out check the plug to Source. Check there first. It'll save you a trip to the store and to the therapist. Every time your light is out is because you are disconnected from SOURCE. Plug yourself back in and voila! your light is shining again.
Could it be as simple as that?
