Did you have a De’ja vu or a dream come true?
Dreamers lives have been transformed and healed through guided dreams. Kathleen O’Keefe-Kanavos has witnessed the change dreams can bring to the lives of those who journal their dreams. Journaling is the first step in understanding the call to actio n in a dream.
On Kathleen’s weekly live radio show Your Life and Purpose Revealed many caller speak of frightening nightmares and recurrent dreams that were important calls to action. Learning their personal dream language made a big difference in their lives.
Your dreams can diagnose your life. Many dreamers have reported precognitive dreams that diagnosed cancer before it showed up on medical scans. Like Kathleen, many reported being guided by spirit guides- a numinous healing figure who helped in making choices among doctors and among turns in the labyrinth of ever-ch
anging treatment options.
Dream groups are becoming more popular and integrating into the medical community. Over the years, more than a hundred dreamers have participated in on-going dream groups at institutions of healing like Cancer Support Community in an Atlanta hospital. One of these groups is often led by a leader in the Field of Dreams, Tallulah Lyons. She has seen the difference dreams can make in people’s lives.
Tallulh Lyons and Kathleen O’Keefe-Kanavos combined their personal experiences with dream groups and shared it together for the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) online Symposium. The goal of this symposium is to share cutting-edge research and information on dreams and medicine with the world community of dreamers and doctors.
In some of the documented research dreamers who journaled, tracked and shared their dreams describe these four life-benefits:
• Consistently dreamers have demonstrated that their dreams put them in touch with specific issues that need priority attention in order for healing to take place.
• Consistently they have demonstrated Ernest Hartmann’s basic finding: that the central image of the dream targets the primary area that needs attention.
• Consistently they have
demonstrated that when working with their dreams with meditative approaches, both the imagery and energies emerge for moving into a felt-sense of connection with a Guiding Other.
The Ocean of Gnosis-aka- The Deep Well of Guiding Wisdom
In their personal journeys and in
companioning others, both Tallulah and Kathleen have experienced an ever-available deep well of guiding wisdom.Kathleen refers to this as the Ocean of Gnosis accessible through dreams.
Katheen O’Keefe-Kanavos uses this example to explain this mystical concept.
“We are spiritual droplets of Gnosis/Universal Knowledge that inhabit a physical body. When we die, our droplet returns to the Ocean of Gnosis and shares the experiences of a lifetime. During daydreams, our mind wanders to the Ocean’s edge to wade in water’swisdom and meet with ‘others.’”
adonna’s, Grandmothers, Divine Children, mythological heroes – any apparition that radiates numinous energy can communicate guidance.
