The ending of this month brings us the Dream Oracle Card: Death. How symbolic for the dark days of this winter solstice we are just emerging out of, along with the ending of 2012. Death in dreams represents more than that of physical death, it symbolizes aspects within our self and around our energetic field that are shedding from us. With all death comes some aspect of rebirth - the New Year 2013, sunlight beginning to renew even in the dead of winter, with a death of a physical life the birth of a new life emerges, and with the shedding of some facet of our life room is made for all things new to be invited in. The death dream oracle card is symbolic to each of us during our own personal journeys and although our ego holds on tight to the grief and fear of death, our soul re-joyous to the new that is now allowed to be birthed in our lives.
Our soul’s journey contains a contract and exit points, which are both related to our story held within the death dream oracle. Both exit points and contracts not only represent death that is to come at some moment in our physical lives, but is also symbolic to parts of our inner and outer self that no longer provide us nourishment. If we continue to hold on to the unused parts of us stagnate energy takes up residence within and around our bodies. By shifting our perspectives from the great loss death brings into the knowledge that we alone choose to exit out, let go, remove, and bury any parts of the physical at any time we feel is beneficial for our journey, we will begin to understand that our soul’s life (and pieces of our inner worlds) are much greater than this short time lived out on earth.
Initiating the steps to choose to look deeper into the invisible will assist us in ‘seeing’ that those who are meant to remain in our lives (from behind the veil and within the visible) will do so as they are essential to death and rebirth. Physical life is not invincible, but it is not death itself we should remain in fear of, death represents much more then we allow ourselves to perceive. If we choose to switch our thoughts from death equaling fear the outcomes we can manifest for ourselves will be awe-inspiring and peaceful. ~Dream Advice: Let go. Embrace and find acceptance in letting go – whether it is someone who has died or an aspect of yourself that is no longer necessary for your evolution, be ok with letting go so you can continue to grow and move forward down your path.
From the Dream Oracle: It is essential for us to remember that in death our loved ones who left us, to remain in our physical form, work closely with us from the other side. This underlines that death only represents the passing of the physical form and life continues on. Most often than not, it is their symbolic messages that encourage us to shed what no longer feeds us so we allow new positive facets of ourselves to emerge outward.
