Snoezelen is an approach to the individual dependence initiated by two Dutch psychologists there twenty years.
It is a concept that should help them live better disability, regardless of the age of life, to establish contact and to experience pleasure with the outside world. Snoezelen offers a variety of sensory experiences, favoring the stimulation of emotional memory issues without learning or performance.
Theoretically the "philosophy" Snoezelen is based on three "activities" distinct relaxation, discovery, interactivity. A Snoezelen room can work with the following basic equipment: bubble column or bullet projector "solar" fiber optic light, stereo, foam elements (water beds and cushions).
A garden is in the etymological sense, an enclosed area, outdoor room. Yet it is above all a place of escape, body and spirit, a place where our senses can regain sharpness too often set aside behind our modern displays.
