What is faith for you?

Do you discount it as the excuse to hold om to something that should have been "let go" off long ago? Or do you credit it to be a pivotal component for perseverance? Or simply the driving force behind leading a calm and composed life?

The definitions are many!! What does faith mean to you?

Before understanding the implications of this little word, it makes sense to look at faith from a point of view where most of us would agree to the meaning. 

Faith, simply put means - a strong belief.

This belief can be based on number of factors like religion, knowingness, confidence and the like. Preparing for 'tomorrow' is a faith you have put into yourself that you will be alive the next day. This is just a mundane example. We have so many unspoken and unknown faiths and belief systems within ourselves. Positive and negative! 

The positive ones drive you towards your goals and desires and the negative ones take you away from them.

How to identify in any given situation if you have a 'positive' or a 'negative' belief?

Simple. Observe your feelings. If in a situation you find yourself saying - It is okay. It is going to be alright. You just have to wait. - Then you probably are on the right track. On the contrary, if you see yourself doubting every time you are amidst an important activity or a decision, then the chances are your subconscious is stuffed with the negative belief patterns!!

How do you practice bringing more faith and trust in your life?

Simple again. Just overlook the doubts. I know, its easier said than done! However, my friend, know that:

Doubt is the most stubborn and the biggest block to operating from a space of Faith and Trust. 

A simple technique for elimination of Doubts:

- Whenever you have a doubt or a negative thought in your head, just say: 

Cancel. Clear. Delete. 

- And then, replace that doubt or fear or negative thought with another thought which is more positive in nature. For that specific subject or area. 

This is one of the most easiest practices, you can ever undertake to make your thoughts positive on a conscious level. Although, this can take some time to instill, but once accustomed to it, you will become more 'mindful' about what you think and perceive and hence, create a more positive outcome into waking reality. 

This, my friend, is your first step in Creating a life of your Choice!!
