Fatty liver disease comes about because of lifestyle choices and has to be addressed because it can lead to lots of complications later in life such as liver fibrosis and cirrhosis of the liver. And we now know that fatty liver disease is directly connected to heart disease, so heart disease is also important to address. Fortunately the same lifestyle changes for healing liver disease also heals heart disease… here is exactly what a person needs to do to become healthy.
Many people want a pill to heal fatty liver disease but it’s not about pills, it’s about changing our life style that’s important. Stress is one of the biggest causes of fatty liver disease, I know of one person who had a very stressful job, and ended up with fatty liver disease because he also changed his diet to deal with all the stress, thus he was eating lots of fats and fast foods and lots of meat. Once he quit his job, and found a new job… that was easy going and peaceful his lifestyle changed, and so did his fatty liver disease. So changing our lifestyle is very important for healing fatty liver disease. The body wants to heal itself naturally, if we have a great lifestyle, with very little stress, and give the body what it needs to heal in the way of good food.
Take 3,000 mgs of Chlorella per day is important for fatty liver disease, chlorella can be found in 1,000 mg tablets, it’s a green algae that has over 60 different nutrients in it… and it will do the body good. Chlorella contains every essential and none essential protein that we need and everything else.
Drink a lots of water, at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day, drink at least 1/2 liter in the morning and 1/2 liter in the afternoon and more. Use a reverse osmosis water filter, these filters can be found at any home repair center for very little money, it’s the best water ever, even kidney doctors recommend this water for their patients.
Green juices are very healing for the liver, drink at least 2 and up to 6 – 8 oz glasses of green alkalizing juice each day – Kale, Cabbage, Cucumbers, Swiss Chard, Lots of Carrots, Turnip Greens, Beet Greens, and any other kind of green leafy veggie you can find. Alkalizing keeps inflammation away! Also include carrots, carrots are amazingly healthy and contain powerful healing nutrients for the liver.
Not listening to our inner clock causes stress which is directly related to fatty liver disease. Get up at 6 AM – Go to bed at 10 PM. We need to reset our circadian rhythms. We have two little cells that flash on and off every second in every organ of our body and especially the heart. And they know exactly when we should be sleeping and when we should be waking up and moving around. If a person goes against this way of living it shortens their life span, so it’s very important to listen to our natural bodily rhythms of working during the day and going to bed at night.
First things a person needs to do in the morning after going to the bathroom sitting down and concentrating on their breathing – breathing in and out, if a person finds a thought coming into their head, they should say “I will get to that later and go back to their breathing”. Do this for 30 minutes, this gives the mind/body a rest. Even during sleep our mind is not resting it’s dreaming and working things out. Meditation turns off the mind for a little while and allows it to recoup and replenish, and meditation takes practice and surrender to the process. Even Dr. Dean Ornish recommends meditation, and meditation has nothing to do with religion, meditation is about healing. And we now know that people who meditate have good genes expressed and bad genes are shut off and not expressed- Amazing! Meditating for 30 minutes first thing in the morning and in the evening will do the body good.
Have breakfast in the morning before 8AM with 1 1/2 cups of fruit and 1/2 cup of almond milk or nut milk of any kind… and 1/2 cup of raw flattened oatmeal, rolled oats. Good old old fashioned oats, but don’t cook it – use it raw and use honey or agave nectar or some other good sweetener, but no chemical sweeteners which are toxic. Use any kind of fruit such as papaya, apples, mangos, berries, strawberries, whatever makes your heart sing – all raw, the more different colors a person eats the better.
Have a green salad for lunch, with lots of veggies, all raw. Cooked food is seen by the body as an invader so we want to eat at least 80% raw food, raw food is healing. Have lots of different colored foods in a person’s salad such as: red, yellow, green, purple, all the colors of the rainbow in a beautiful salad is also healing, brightly colored veggies are full of antioxidants.
In between eat carrot sticks, any other veggie, and fruit of any kind as snacks – eat 4 snacks a day at 10AM, 2PM, 4PM, and 7PM. That’s 1/2 cup of any of fruit or veggie. Have dinner at 5 or 6 PM, dinner is a soup that a person can make at home and it’s very healing. Make a soup of broccoli, cabbage, kale, swiss chard, turnip greens, been greens, and any other green that you like and add spices, no salt or very little salt, and use low sodium veggie stock. Also add 4 cups of beans of choice, such as pink beans, garbanzos, lentils, all of the beans are great. Please don’t use canned food, cook the beans yourself, canned foods contain toxins from the linings of the cans. A person can eat as much of this soup as they like in the evening, up to 3 or 4 cups. If a person wants something sweet have some Sorbet. Take frozen organic bananas and any other kind of frozen organic fruit and blend them in a powerful blender… and which makes a great organic sorbet.
Remove the following from life in general
No meat, no chicken, no fish, no seafood, no eggs, no cheese, no milk, no added oils, no canned foods, no artificial flavors, no artificial sweeteners, no sugar, no artificial anything, no chemicals of any kind, and if a person doesn’t know what it is they shouldn’t eat it… it’s probably toxic.
No alcohol, no highly spiced food, and use very little salt, no fast food, no processed food, if in doubt don’t eat it, chemicals are not good for the body. No wheat, no bread, no barley, no spelt, no rye all of these grains are highly inflammatory for the body in general and for the liver. And GMO (Genetically Modified Foods) Foods are highly inflammatory, they cause cancer, and more. Lots of studies show that GMO foods are toxic. Eat Organic – Eat Organic – Eat Organic - Organic foods are not full of toxic compounds that are terrible for the body. Even the regular old potato which is not organic contains 6 cancer causing compounds, 12 hormone disrupting chemicals and more toxins, so it’s vitally important that we eat only organic food. And the best way to detox all those terrible pesticides and herbicides and other chemicals out of our body is with coffee enemas. Even the prestigious Gerson Clinics recommends coffee enemas to cleans the body of toxins – See Link to Article –
If a person wants more protein eat organic tofu, beans, nuts, seeds, all organic. But we only need 5 or 6 % protein and that’s exactly what we get from this diet… more than that is not needed.
Start walking and work up to 5 miles a day, if it’s hot outside walk in a mall where it’s cool. Or swim and work up to 5 miles a day swimming, or a person could bike ride or any other exercise that gets their heart pumping fast. We need exercise as part of our daily routine, it doesn’t happen by itself, and it helps the liver rejuvenate. And get out and have fun, have a life with friends, that’s important for good mood and mental clarity and that also helps the liver heal.
Also start taking Serrapeptase and Nattokinase which are important for getting rid of atherosclerosis and plaque buildup in the coronary arteries.
This process of healing fatty liver disease will not happen over night. In most cases it takes a year or longer to lose excess weight, keep it off, and heal all the stress, and change a persons lifestyle and eventually have fatty liver disease be a thing of the past. But it can be done and I’ve seen it happen with this diet and these lifestyle changes.
You can do it!
