This condition can keep you up at night and can make your reality a living nightmare as you constantly relive past trauma. Because cannabis is known to help stimulate the creation of serotonin, it can directly help patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder to live happy and normal lives.

Even if you have not been diagnosed with a formal mental illness, marijuana can be used to help the body relax and to help keep stress levels manageable. High long-term stress levels can take a toll on the body and the mind, and can even lead to chronic illnesses and issues. It is important to be proactive about your self-care and stress management, and one of the easiest ways to do this is through cannabis use.


Marijuana can help stimulate sleep, which is crucial to the overall performance of the brain and body. There are different strains that people use, which are Indica and Sativa. The Sativa strain makes you feel motivated and ready to take on the day, on the other hand, the Indica strain makes your body feel heavy and tired, making you want to sleep. Without a proper sleep cycle, our mental health can crash and burn in as short as just a few weeks. When you are sleeping well, your body and brain are able to perform your very best.
