Today I am awake
To a dance called Change
From “never will” to “when will it stop”
Extremes feel strange
Either way, it’s the move you make
Mind to heart to body parts.
Can you do the dance
Or do you stiffen up in the habit of
“I’m right,” gripping tight to old ways.
Can you move and glide and spin
As the shift of Change arrives?
Or do you get stuck and heavy
Resisting what is, complaining it’s unfair?
Learn how to dance
It is the rhythm of life
Break free from your ties, and glide
The Universe will provide
If you trust and fly
Spin, twirl, slide to the side and smile
Let Change move you.
Even if for just a while
Dance with me.
