Every passing moment offers us the opportunity to open more fully to the light and love that reside at the core of our being. In this moment, you’re either thinking thoughts that elevate your vibrational field or you’re unconsciously recycling old conditioned habits that bring you down.
Most of us were not raised in an environment that encouraged developing a conscious awareness to be mindful in each moment to our beliefs, and to cultivate thoughts and actions that lead from a loving foundation. The good news is that we have free will, and as adults, we can choose to anchor in daily practices that raise our moment-to-moment awareness as to where we’re placing our attention.
Right now, how are you feeling? Are you light and ignited in thought, word and deed, or is there any level of heaviness weighing you down? If you’re answer is yes to the latter, take a moment to scan your body and see where this heaviness is residing. Is it showing up as a mild headache, or perhaps tightness in your neck? Maybe you’re experiencing uneasiness in your stomach or a dull ache in your back?
The physical body always serves as a vessel for instant feedback as to where we’re placing our attention. Usually, it’s alot easier to notice physical discomfort over mental, emotional or spiritual duress. Once we learn to fully listen to the messages that our body is constantly communicating, we can honor its guidance and make the necessary changes that bring greater balance, joy and purpose to our lives. Louse Hay’s groundbreaking book, “You Can Heal Your Life“ is a brilliant resource for linking our thoughts with how they manifest in specific areas of the body.
Mindfulness allows us to take a step back from our conditioned responses and shows us a greater perspective in order to release any knee-jerk responses that have been habitually making decisions for us. Bottom line, if we’re not feeling peaceful and light within, we’re still running those old loops based in fear. How expansive and deep are your breaths in this moment? When we’re feeling safe and “at home” within ourselves, we naturally take the time to fully inhale and exhale for there is no threat to rush, to do, or be anywhere other than where we are.
This is a safe Universe and you are here to contribute your unique gifts like no one else can offer. Release any false notions that you need to try and accomplish your visions, and allow yourself to rest in the pure, radiant guidance that lives at the core of your essence. Breathe, listen to the wisdom of your body, and honor the mindful choices to be made in every blessed moment.
You are the light…allow its radiance to fully influence and direct you right now….let it shine.
