Living in the now is something I feel a majority of the population find hard to master including myself. Perhaps minority rules in this instance. I have been fortunate enough to be taught by some very well known guides in my life and would like to share the wisdom they have imparted to me.
Living in the now also known as the pre-sent moment/s. It is all we really have. The next second, the next minute, the next hour, the next day does not exist, yet it does exist. This is the diviner dichotomy and one to master how to live in. Let me explain my last paragraph. The second you are reading this article and a minute that passes by as you keep reading it is all pre-sent. The future as we know it does and does not exist. Again there is another divine dichotomy that we need to learn to master as mastery is where we all are eventually going to get to no matter how many lifetimes we need in order to achieve that.
The future is the pre-sent moment as well. For most of us the knowing is a wonderful experience which allows much more freedom than the majority of the population have, living your knowing and highest truth is the real challenge. If you will, imagine this you are sitting there reading my article then suddenly a thought creeps in that tomorrow morning you have to be up at 9 am and get to the shops before it gets busy as you dislike the crowds. That is the future moment that is not yet arrived. One cannot be living in the now, the pre-sent moment if they are living for something that is not here yet but is most certainly guaranteed to come unless it doesn't. However, that thought you are thinking of is also the pre-sent moment as it is what you are thining of in that moment, it begs the question would one be really present in that moment whilst reading my article and thinking of something else that is not yet here. The key to all of this is awareness of thoughts and being more aware of your present surroundings as to fully experience that pre-sent moment. In closing I would like to leave a saying that I myself came up with.
The pre-sent moment is a present which requires your presence.
I wish you all many blessings.
