Make Your Own Holiday (Healing) Specialty Teas as Gifts

Lots of people spend hours trying to come up with something simple, helpful, and inexpensive to give as gifts for the holidays. Here is a great idea that only takes a few minutes of your time... Make your own speciality teas!

You can make great tasting teas of your own choosing and create wonderful gifts that keep on giving for weeks after the holidays.

Here is what you need:

Go to a Tea Shop, Asian Store, East Indian Store or any where you can find bulk teas and buy your base tea. Perhaps a nice blend of black Assum tea and green tea mixed together or Oolong and Jasmine tea.

Now go to the super market and buy dried fruits and nuts that will complement your tea.

Perhaps dried cherries and almonds -- this is a nice combination that’s very relaxing and tastes great, or dates and vanilla beans chopped up make a really nice tea. You could even take your black tea and add dried strawberries to give it a nice fruity flavor.

And you can even add dried mango, pineapple, rose hips, blackberries or raspberries to the mix for a bright fruity colorful mix. Try peaches with citrus chunks, or adding mint to any tea makes it taste great, or try coconut and almonds mixed together or pineapple and papaya. You could even add peanuts and lungs of rock candy for a sweet peanutty flavor that’s wonderful!

Then just portion them our in small brown paper bags and add a label if you want (be creative) and a bow... and you have a gift that’s fit for a king.

There’s no end to what you can do making great tasting tea blends for gifts. Plus everyone is getting the health benefits of all those great poly phenols from the tea that will fight off free radicals... and help them stay healthy for weeks to come.
