Making Lilith and her Shadow visible again

Lilith part II By Elohim Yael

Lilith representing everything the ‘role of mother and wife’ does not, fell into Shadow within the feminine as a result of a sense of obligation towards the masculine. Thus we saw in the first clarification ‘Lilith, shadowing the feminine dilemma’. However she entails another Shadow part for humanity as well. She stands as metaphor for the inner constraint of freedom in general which was the result of the patriarchal system and its masculine focus on the form and its tangibility. Her deeper meaning makes us aware of a deeper layer for experiencing more (inner) freedom.

Inner wandering

During the rise of the patriarchal traditions one part of the feminine chose to support the masculine approach and its designing style of creation out of a sense of obligation, and while doing so she retreated. The other part, that Lilith represents, felt restrained in her freedom and felt forced into escaping reality. Leading to her wandering. Deep down inside this created a struggle within the feminine, as the first clarification explained.

The masculine focus on form and its tangibility led to something else as well. The own-form, the own race or color and the individual identification were put above the others. The outer perception – the outside – was disconnected from the inner perception – the inside. All perceived to be tangible and visible oppressed the non-tangible or non-visible towards the background into the Shadow. It ‘disappeared’ and was forgotten. One wasn’t conscious of it anymore, leading into inner wandering.

Throwing light onto Shadow

Fallen into Shadow Lilith and her qualities ‘disappeared’, literally and figuratively being covered up by both the feminine and the masculine. This suppression enlarged the dark side of Lilith’s fire such as her anger and eagerness for wanting to be free from ties (independence). Reconciliation between both parts of the feminine and with the masculine is initiated by bringing Lilith’s qualities out of the Shadow, throwing light onto them and reconnecting them.

Only through awareness we bring these wounded parts back into our conscious and start the process of healing.

However Lilith represents more Shadow. As her wandering can be compared with the ‘inner wandering' humanity went through in general during the earthly experience of duality and disharmony, the period following paradise. Becoming aware (again) of one’s inner Shadow parts is an important key for freeing ourselves from restrictions within that reinforce the experience of duality.

Making Lilith visible again

One can achieve this by accepting all inner Shadow   both aspects within oneself, the sunny or fun sides, the dark or lesser sides and conscious and unconscious parts ànd by taking responsibility for these aspects. However this inner shadow does not need to be tamed. Its needs recognition, embracement and rocking; it IS to BE (present). This process will make us aware of a deeper layer of inner freedom. Lilith’s deeper meaning contributes to this in general.

Lilith therefore represents an important aspect of realization and contemplation
in renewed inner experience of oneness and wholeness.

In other words one could say that her return is vital for the ‘Return of Paradise on Earth’. Lilith is liberated in oneself, ànd collectively, by giving her a voice and making her visible. Her voice brings the soft cradling of feminine empowerment. This will be explained in the coming three clarifications on Lilith and the important role she has in re-harmonizing the masculine and feminine.  Those feeling connected to Lilith and her energy feed this process additionally and have a pioneering role.

Thanks Regina, I have adapted the paragraph regarding the 'own-form' above into the following:

The masculine focus on form and its tangibility led to something else as well. The own-form, the own race or color and the individual identification were put above the others. The outer perception – the outside – was disconnected from the inner perception – the inside. All perceived to be tangible and visible oppressed the non-tangible or non-visible towards the background into the Shadow. It ‘disappeared’ and was forgotten. To make sure we have the same text of this article in mind, I placed the complete content below as well:

Hi Yael - Thanks for the adjustments. I played around with the paragraph regarding the "own-form" a bit and got this, let me know which version you prefer. My additions are in bold:

"The masculine focus on form and its tangibility led to something else as well. The own-form and own-appearance (how we see and identify ourselves) were put above the other. The inner perception – the inside – was disconnected from outer perception – the outside. All perceived to be tangible and visible oppressed the non-tangible or non-visible towards the background into the Shadow. It ‘disappeared’ and was forgotten. One wasn’t conscious of it anymore, leading to inner wandering."

Thanks!

Regina

ps .. Onto the next article! =D

HI Regina, I have adjusted both words into more common usage. And I have had a look at this word usage in the other two articles as well.

Warm regards Yael

Hi Yael,

Thanks for this - I have two minor comments on this article:

1st) Are you sure that obligance is a word? I can't find it in any dictionaries and while I am assuming you mean "doing something that we feel obliged to do" I wanted to double check that with you as the word is also used in the first article.

2) There is a sentence where you mention the "own form" without defining it and I don't think readers will understand it unless they have read the 1st article. It might be good to define it.

Thanks again! Have a nice weekend

Regina

Hello Regina, thank you very much for your comment on the first submitted piece. Following your input I have trimmed the article down and cut it into two pieces of the 500-600 range, of which this post is the second one.

They are part of a sequence of in total 5 articles about the Feminine and the return of the Sacred Wisdom of Creation. I will post the following articles later on this month:

Making peace with the Feminine struggle - 500-600 range

The Divine Feminine and the return of Sacred Wisdom of Creation - 500-800 range

Looking forward to you reaction, regards Yael
