Planting the Seeds of Health
In order to reap the rewards of bountiful harvest, seeds must be planted, garden tended, weeds pulled, water when necessary, insects removed and a myriad of other details completed prior to actually being able to prepare a meal from seed to eat. A healthy life is very similar and without the investment of time, energy and love into creating a healthy body and environment – you will not reap the harvest of a healthy life.
Planting seeds of health is a gentle life long process of incorporating ideas that work for you or your family in a way that ensures continued motivation. Small steps toward your goal will often improve physical and mental health in ways unexpected and with results that surpass the fad promises of overnight success. Here are a few ideas that you can plant for future health harvesting.
Incorporate more organic, non gmo foods into your diet.
Remove fluoride from your life
Keep the body hydrated
Get off your computerand into the world
The body requires cardio & flexibility
Read more books – watch less TV
Practice breathing exercises, it increases brain power
Get plenty of sleep as this can impact all areas of wellbeing
Allow yourself to learn something new
Spend quiet time alone in prayer or meditation.
Express gratitude often.
Open your heart to love.
Live fearlessly knowing all is as it should be.
When examining nature, we often see reflections and metaphors for life. In this way we are gently reminded to tend our gardens and expect results only after we have planted the seeds. Through incorporating small changes into our daily life we can expect huge results.
