At certain times many planets will be going retrograde. Pluto is going retrograde in Saturn's sign Capricorn until mid-September. Saturn is going retrograde in Pluto's sign, Scorpio until July 8th. Neptune just went retrograde in its home sign, Pisces, where it will be traveling retrograde until mid-November. Mercury is getting ready to travel its 3-week retrograde journey in the Moon's sign, Cancer, on June 26th until July 20th.
Does this mean that everything stops? Prepare for things to go wrong every which way? Of course not! At any particular time a planet is probably going retrograde. It's more rare that all planets are full steam ahead at the same time.
Retrograde periods are times to go inward, visit with your inner Self and discern what needs to be upgraded, changed, deleted or just moved around. You do this by connecting with your
INTUITIVE INSTINCT, which will accurately guide you and direct you to what is perfect for you in the moment you are asking. Treasure and cherish retrograde times to be with yourself, practicing connecting with your INTUITIVE INSTINCT, your inner flexibility and your life-affirming adaptability. This is how you IGNITE YOUR SOUL POTENTIAL!
Last year I scored a wrought iron table and chairs from the Greenwood Wildlife Thrift store. It was basic black and being a paint everything kind of a person I knew it was just a matter of time until the spray paint cans would be pulled out. This morning I started testing colors. I thought the deep plum would be nice but it depressed me when I looked at it. Persimmon I thought would be bright and festive but realistically looked like a bench in a state prison. I ended up paint the table Spring green, two of the chairs French blue, and the other two chairs a vibrant swimming pool turquoise. With my orange umbrella I think it's bright and fabulous.
I'm telling you all this because painting outdoor furniture is not that different from any other decision you make. Don't like what you chose? Choose again! Am I going to dwell incessantly on how much I disliked the plum and orange colors? No! I am just going to delight in and enjoy the aqua, blue, and green I ended up with - for now. Maybe next week I will decide to try some other colors. So I will! Same for your life. Really. Made a choice you weren't pleased with? Don't obsess about it or even give it any attention at all. Move on! Stay adaptable and flexible.
Check in with yourself to find out what works for you and what does not. If you don't like something, change it. And then don't ever think about it again, Fill your energy field with what you want, not what you don't want! Staying flexible and adaptable is the KEY to a happy life. Change what you can and if you can't change the outer circumstances, change your inner perception. In your inner perception you always have CHOICE. Do not dwell or even visit disappointment. Disappointment comes from wanting a certain outcome and not getting it. Boo hoo. Disappointment lets you know you are attached to a specific outcome and not using your adaptability skills to adjust to what may be better for you than what you had thought in your limited capacity to comprehend the vastness of endless, limitless possibility that the Universe offers up to you each and every moment for your choosing.
John Corsa, crystal healer, suggests placing AMETHYST above your head while you nap or
sleep for the night to help clear your brain of the inevitable cobwebs that cluster there. During the day keep your amethyst close at hand, on your body or in your pocket, or look at it and focus on clearing your brain of unneeded debris. Try it and report back!
