Finding strength through yoga to accomplish and overcome obstacles, happens more often than you think.
Getting in shape and losing weight are the first things people think of when they hear the word yoga or start a yoga practice.
But, yoga isn't just exercise.
Yoga is a way of life.
Yoga can heal people recover and deal with all kinds of things.
Eating Disorders
Abuse
PTSD
ADHD
ADD
Alcoholism
Drug Addiction
Depression
Mental Illness
Bad Relationships
Loss of a Loved One
The list goes on and on.
Yoga allows us to go inward and really discover ourselves.
Yoga gives us permission to let go of the past and any negativity we have towards ourselves and others.
Yoga teaches us forgiveness and acceptance.
Yoga allows us to look ahead, while still being present.
Yoga helps us work out and work through all kinds of things.

Generally speaking, article submissions should fit the following criteria: 

- Original content, in other words, it hasn't been posted in other magazines or in blogs.  

- We are aiming for a professional tone of voice, using "we" rather than "I" to make the articles more inclusive, and to avoid sounding like a blog post. We also suggest avoiding 2nd person as much as possible, to keep from sounding too preachy (as in, "you might be doing this wrong...) 

- Please include an Author Bio with links to your profile and any information (up to 60 words) 

- Title reflective of the general theme (up to 60 characters) 

- Article length: 500 - 800 words
