Saw The Cove movie over the weekend, documenting the holocaust being conducted toward local dolphins in Taiji, Japan. The carnage and lack of care was beyond belief. That modern man has come to be so blind does give rise to feelings of futility.
Yet the deep courage expressed by Rick O’Barry, Louie Psihoyos and the other members of the commando production team that risked their lives to document this grisly secret is one of the greatest beacons I have experienced of holding the light even in the darkest night.
I had to leave the theatre to stop myself from screaming when the killing carnage was at its worst and Taiji fishermen were coldly watching the dolphins cry out even in the throws of death. That the team could hold their own and muster a level of equinimity, determination and focus to produce this documentary while being exposed to this level of evil is testimony to their extraordinary mastery.
I am doing my best to spread the word through putting some words down and asking for you to join in anchoring more light and letting it be known that this is not acceptable. Senseless slaughter of sentient beings must be stopped. Now.
Whether you feel you can watch the movie or not, please take the time to take some action in favor of saving some dolphin families by clicking on the second link. Blessings to you in helping to anchor more divine light upon the Earth in whatever way your heart calls.
